Food is good, no sushi. But you can bring your own drinks. Odd place though. I had pork, I dont see it in the options here, pictured here. One edit the door being locked is fine. The place is nice and clean but thats a high crime, high homeless area. I have to kick them out all the time in that area. I saw an older lady alone. I dont think its a big deal to lock the door.

Delicious food, friendly and fast service and very clean restaurant. My husband got spicy chicken ramen and I got chicken udon noodles and both dishes were fantastic. We also shared the pork gyoza and a cup of hot green tea, both very good. The sauce that came with the gyoza was amazing on the udon noodles. Highly recommend!

What a great discovery! This is real Japanese food that is not sushi. It has that authentic Tokyo vibe and it is 100% delicious. I can’t wait to return and try more of the food. The only improvement I can think of is the option for some sort of hot drink like Japanese style tea or coffee. Can’t wait to return!

Went with a friend familiar with Japanese food Friday evening. My nose and palate was amazed at the smell and taste of ofnour orders! I got shrimp fried rice to go for my husband and it was fabulous! Once I understood to entry and seating, I get it! We felt safe and comfortable and not rushed. There were several takeout orders picked up. The owner was very nice too and people eating in there enjoyed their time. We will be going back for dine in and takeout!

Outstanding experience! We were welcomed inside by our server and checked on throughout. The restaurant is very clean, and the music is superb. We had pork gyoza, edamame, and kimchi for appetizers; the BEST gyoza I’ve ever had! We each got a different type of ramen, all 3 were amazing! Highly recommend this place!

My husband and I are new to KC. We travel for work and have been here less than 3 weeks but had this place twice already. This is a cozy, laid back spot with excellent hospitality and equally good food. The veggie ramen and chicken fried rice are our go-to dishes. 10/10!

Who is cooking back there? I would like to buy you all a case of beer. I cannot put into words how much I enjoy the food here. First off – the service was implacable! She had all of our needs covered and was fast!

Now, I was particularly hungry when we came in, so I ordered garlic mushrooms, the teriyaki chicken, chu shu ribs and some gyoza. For my main I got the combination udon -beef, chicken & shrimp – my two cohorts got chu shu bento and the tonkotsu pork cutlet. All of which where very good! The flavory profile was on point! When your appetizers test better than some other places main courses you know you struck gold.

I spent like 80 dollars personally but I got like 3 appetizers and a meal plus the tip. I was super impressed with everything and can’t wait to go back to try and the tonkotsu myself or some of the Raman. New date spot for sure. Still thinking of those garlic mushrooms ♥️

Thank you for the meal!

This place is great. That ramen is everything you want! Hot pot! Rice balls! Everything is worth the experience. If I were them I would increase prices to cover to-go containers rather than place a note on the table. Or be able to demonstrate compost efforts for waste. I would put the bring your own NA drink notification on the website. I would like to see more green/recycling efforts if patrons are forced to buy bottle/can/glass beverages. Design and experience were truly great. Adventurous kiddos loved it.

Awesome place to try a variety of delicious food. It is a little pricey, but the flavor is worth it.
The ramen was very rich in flavor (which I loved).
We ordered too much food but wanted to try a little of everything.
The bento box was delicious and the perfect size for a filling meal. The fried rice tasted like it came from a hibachi grill.
The pork onigiri had a ton of great flavor.
The potstickers were okay.
The teriyaki chicken was good.
The raspberry cheesecake spring roll was awesome.
Overall, it’s a great place to try out sometime if you’re a fan of ramen or bento boxes!
