I had dinner at Chase’s Family Restaurant in early 2025, with a guest, and the experience was enjoyable from start to finish. There was a short wait, but it was absolutely worth it. I had the broiled haddock with mashed potatoes and butternut squash—everything was fresh, cooked just right, and full of flavor. My guest had the lobster roll, which was generously portioned and just as good.
We each had a bottomless drink (free refills during the meal), and we took a couple of classic whoopie pies to go. Nice way to finish things off.
The prices were very reasonable—our full dinner for two came to just over $59, which felt like a solid value for the quality and portion size. The staff was friendly, and the relaxed, welcoming atmosphere added to the overall experience.
If you’re in the Bangor area, Chase’s is definitely worth a visit. If ever in the area, I would return.

This a very nice family restaurant with a charming atmosphere. The staff was friendly and helpful. The restaurant was clean and well maintained. We got the Johnny Breakfast which we split . It came with two pancakes , two eggs.fried potatoes, choice of toast . We were seated quickly. Our order came out promptly. It was delicious and didn’t disappoint. Everything was made to perfection . There prices are reasonable. Our breakfast was under twenty dollars. I had coffee which was delicious and hit the spot . It is a popular place. I believe their hours are from 7 a.m til 8 p.m . I would definitely recommend this restaurant. It is worth the visit .
