I love Hailey’s! This is the best place to explore beers on tap, especially IPAs! There is always a new beer to try out. The food is great and they are very flexible on special requests. The service is awesome, everyone is always so friendly and the owners are just awesome and thoughtful people. The live music is a plus!

Hailey’s is a great small-town Irish pub. The atmosphere is very festive and upbeat. The walls are well-decorated, there are plenty of TVs, there’s a large bar area, and there are plenty of special event nights. The menu is pretty large with traditional Irish pub food and drinks. I ordered the shepherds pie, which is their signature dish. This included ground lamb and beef, carrots, celery, onions, peas, cheddar cheese, and mashed potatoes. Everything blended together well and tasted great. The prices were also very reasonable. It’s no wonder this restaurant is a Metuchen stable. I highly recommend dining here.

First time visiting. Just a bunch of guys after work. We kind of took over the bar. The staff was great. Service was on point. We ordered pizzas, potato skins, calamari, wings and more. We all enjoyed it. I’d like to revisit if I’m in the area. Thank you, Hailey’s Harp & Pub.

Hailey’s is an excellent Irish Pub. We’ve been coming to Hailey’s since they opened. They have consistently good food and service. They offer an excellent selection of draft beer and maintain their taps well. Their bartenders are professional and they offer a nice array of cocktails.
We enjoy most everything on the menu, especially the Irish fare such as the Irish soda bread, shepherd’s pie and corned beef and cabbage. The Chicken Milanese is also a favorite.
They frequently have live music. Outdoor seating is available weather permitting.
Metuchen is a lovely town with an award winning Main Street. Hailey’s is an asset to the community. The staff is friendly and great to deal with.

If you have food allergies, be careful. I am deathly allergic to all fish and shellfish and have to be careful of cross contamination. I spoke to my waiter to find out what was safe and they sent over their manager. The manager proceeded to question my allergy saying he never heard of anyone who is allergic to all of that and felt he accused me of lying when he asked “are you sure it isn’t just a preference that you dont like it?”.
Having almost died at a restaurant previously and numerous encounters where food staff did not take me seriously, I cannot stress how this interaction made me feel unsafe to eat here and that my food allergy and needs were not taken seriously and that I was sure that they were going to be appropriately communicated and handled in the kitchen. I did not want to use my epi pen or go to the hospital when I was there for my friends birthday.
I ended up ordering a bar pizza which was safe for my allergy but could not eat anything fried which narrowed down most of the menu for me. At least I was able to eat something but they forgot about my drink orders while everyone at my table had something and they had no box to take the pizza home so I had to smash 3 pieces into a round silver container. Do not feel safe or excited to come back here personally.
I will say that people seemed to be enjoying the trivia night, they had good cider, they had a good atmosphere with sports on the tv, and the hostess was very helpful in walking me back to find the party I was attending.

Went there on a Saturday night. Live band was awesome. Food was very good. Drinks were good but the glasses were small and have too much ice in them. Wide selection of beers.Everyone was friendly but our waiter wouldn’t let us breathe. He was on top of us even when our drinks were still half full. Would definitely come here again hope to get a different waiter.
