First time trying true Japanese restaurant, and I have to say it was great!
There are hibachi grills at each table and the chefs that prepare the food in front of you and put on a good show and joke with you. The only 2 problems with the tables and service is that the seats are a little too close together, and the waitresses that bring drinks and appetizers speak half English and not very friendly.
My Aunts order Hibachi dishes and me Sushi.
The Sushi was fantastic and very well prepared, my Aunts enjoyed their dishes.
Overall, very good. 8/10

We ordered take out and didn’t receive half of the food we paid for. Ordered hibachi steak and it looked like they just cooked the last little bit they had available for the night. Ordered a kid’s hibachi chicken and received a plate of vegetables with ONE (not exaggerating) piece of shrimp. We didn’t receive any of the steamed rice that was ordered, I assumed they just didn’t have anymore for the day and didn’t care to make more. Either way, I will never return, not even if it were the only place open in Williamsburg. We got robbed.

I just moved up here from Florida and had the chance to experience this amazing restaurant! Food and drinks were beyond amazing and the staff and atmosphere were wonderful as well! The young gentleman in charge of hibachi was spectacular and made us laugh with his jokes and humor. The waitress did phenomenal keeping up with our orders and drinks as well! We had plenty enough to eat and drink until we were studfed. Will definitely be visiting again!

Nice restaurant but we’ve had better service and food. The chef didn’t really engage us other than a couple hot fires and the waitress didn’t speak great English. The food was okay.

The food was good, but the portions were really small. I paid $40 for steak & scallops and I just wasn’t satisfied with how much I paid. The cook was dropping the egg shells on the grill and had to pick them up. I felt like he gave the other party more filet mignon than me. I just wasn’t satisfied and had better else where.

This place was so gross. Not like any other hibachi place we have been to. The waitress was kind but didn’t know English very well which created that communication barrier. The chef was not engaging at all. When the chef came out with the food, he had all of the raw meat on one plate touching eachother (chicken, shrimp, scallops, steak). We should’ve left right then and there but felt bad since the little was already eating steamed rice. The fried rice was an up charge which was ridiculous since that’s the biggest part of going to a hibachi restaurant. The chef dumped what looked like frozen great value mixed veggies on the fried rice and it was so soggy. The side of veggies were over cooked making them soggy in way too much sauce. We ended up not even touching our plates because of the food ick. So much cross contamination we didn’t want to risk it. When the check came, they didn’t include the tip in it yet so we only had a set amount on a gift card and were going to leave the tip in cash. The waitress came back saying “card no work” so I thought I forgot to activate it. Turns out she tried to add the tip right then and there which was the reason the card didn’t go through. Good thing we aren’t local because it was hard to find good food in Williamsburg.

Perfect spot for a great date night. I got fried rice with chicken, date got sushi. Everything was well made, tasted great, and came out in a timely manner. Very friendly staff — recommend 100%. Strong drinks!

As a visitor on vacation in Williamsburg I was looking for a decent Hibachi dinner. Richmond rd is the main drag where all the Hotels and Restaurants seem to be located.
I won’t drag this review out nitpicking all that’s wrong with it. The bottom line is stay away from the place if you’re expecting good food. It’s all basic, cheap, and mono-flavored. When I talk about the flavor I am essentially saying if you have the chicken, steak and Shrimp as I did then they ALL taste the same. There are no flavor profile variations. Its all the same S**T ingredients (smh lol). My Chef was messy and burned food. I thought he was going to throw sauce on my shirt multiple times. The staff overall were pleasant enough but they won’t come back to you without prompting.
In summary, if your not picky and hungry then terrific but that’s not me. I would never consider coming back.

We wanted to try the restaurant next door but this place smelled so good! So we decided on hibachi instead. We were sat with a family of 6, it was a lil girls birthday and they seemed to be regulars at the restaurant who remembered the chef and all. I got the chicken hibachi, my husband got the filet & shrimp. Both were so good! They also have a sushi bar in the back that I would love to go back and try. Highly recommend to anyone in the area!
