Stopped here for lunch as we were passing through. Food is good and the waitress was super friendly. Portions are definitely big enough to fill you up and I couldn’t help but notice that someone was wearing my favorite perfume oak smoke! Cost of food was very reasonable as well.

This food was absolutely scrumptious!!! It was served very quickly and was piping hot! The smoked flavor of my smoked chicken breast and wing was superb!! Our waiter told us that all the smoking is done in-house. My bestie’s ribs were super tender, falling off the bone. Her baked sweet potato was baked to soft, sweet perfection. My green beans and black-eyed peas were very tender, seasoned perfectly, and tasted like Mama’s home cookin’! The grilled garlic Texas toast was very tasty, too!!
The staff members were all very kind, helpful, and solicitous. The hostess held the door open while I slowly limped my way into the restaurant with my newly-installed leg boot. She gave us a table near the entrance, so I wouldn’t have to go far. Our waiter, Jacob, was very kind, very helpful, gave great recommendations, and was very accommodating of all our requests. You’ll be well taken care of if you ask for Jacob.
We will definitely be recommending this restaurant and returning sometime!

This was our first time there and it was a great experience. Our server was on the mark and friendly as well as helpful in answering questions. Everything was clean and well organized and our food came out quickly. The dishes my wife and I had we’re both tasty and plentiful. To add to our amazement they actually give you an extremely large glass of whatever you are drinking.

The ribs were good but very thin. The sweet potato was good but the Mac and cheese was like Stover’s frozen nothing special. The service was very good, he was always checking in on us. Not a bad experience and not over priced.

What a wonderful late afternoon meal at this restaurant. The food was outstanding and the service was over the top. Liz W. did an excellent job serving us as we celebrated my brother-in-law’s 80th birthday. He was presented with a peach cobbler including vanilla ice cream along with the singing of the happy birthday song by Liz and the other waitresses. A fun time was had by all.

She was awesome. Super friendly and attentive. I had the salad and potato soup special. The salad had egg and cheese on it and was huge. My husband had the sliced beef plate with 2 sides. He chose green beans and a corn dish. He loved his meal but didn’t care for the corn since it was cold. I thought it was delicious and added it to my salad. Michelle gave me a to go cup for my soda when I went to the bathroom…that was so sweet. There were so many items on the item that I would try. There were 3 officers having lunch so you know the food has to be great!
