Come here frequently for breakfast. Food is good, I’ve never had a server that wasn’t nice and attentive. Even the music playing on the speakers in here is to my liking – one of the waitresses is big time into Pink Floyd.

We entered for Brunch one day and we were greeted right away. We were seated and they got our drink orders. We ordered the Meat Lover’s Skillet and the Hamburger Steak with Hashbrowns and Grits. The food was prepared to perfection and was so delicious, the hashbrowns were so tasty and the grits were cooked perfectly. The server was very attentive and helpful. The restaurant was clean as were the restrooms. We will return again and again.

Review for Lakewood Cafe
I went with my son after hearing so many people rave about the pancakes here. I’ll admit, I was excited and had built up some pretty high expectations. The coffee was very good, the bacon was tasty, and the pancakes were solid — but they didn’t quite hit the “amazing” level I had imagined. Maybe I overhyped them in my head, or maybe they’re just a reliable choice rather than something extraordinary. The eggs cooled off quickly, which is pretty common, so not a big deal. Overall, it’s a decent breakfast spot with good coffee and solid food, just not quite the standout experience I was anticipating.

This place is in dire need of a plate warmer, they must store the plates in a refrigerator, my plate was so cold that the food was cold 2 minutes after it was delivered. The Food is decent, but the portions are getting smaller which I’m sure is a trade off for keeping the prices down. Wait staff is friendly and attentive, but not overly observant.

Love love love!! Everything served came out pretty quickly and hot. The fries were crispy and the okra was amazing. The sandwiches were delish and I can’t wait to go back to try more on their menu 🙂

My husband and I, as well as my brother and I have been several times, for breakfast, brunch, and lunch. Always excellent service and food. They do accommodate gluten-free requests. A must try, as they will not disappoint!

Lefties Revenge
Another in town random restaurant to try out and to support our local businesses. Walked in and was seated pretty quick. I had a new waitress Jewels. She was very helpful and attentive during my visit, l like that. I placed my order and tried something totally different for breakfast. I ordered a Gyro Omelet with hash browns and toast. The omelet was very good, the tzatziki seemed off not creamy,not like l have had at other places. The hash browns were ok. Something about the thick toast and flavor made me order a second order. The service was wonderful, and everything was served with a smile all the way through even with the cashier at the door. All in all, I would come back again, when I am on this side of my city.

What and when I love going to this restaurant. It is right down the street from our house in it’s always very convenient. The service is always fantastic the food is always hot the prices are always easy on your wallet so it makes for a very easy place that you can stop in once a week and not feel guilty. I would highly recommend them!!

Great breakfast spot will definitely come back for lunch to try out the other side of the menu. Our food was delivered so fast that I barely got done stirring my creamer into my coffee. Waitress was polite and friendly.
There is a sign on the wall that says ‘Wood’ and it is made out of wood. This kept me and my mom giggling all through breakfast.
10/10 would reccomend.
