Exploring opens the Heart
Superba Food and Bread is an absolute gem. The space is bright, welcoming perfectly matching the laid back Venice vibe. The patio seating is especially great on a sunny day.
Service was friendly and attentive without being overbearing.

Small menu, but the food was very good and well prepared. The staff was attentive and friendly, that’s why I’m giving 5 stars. Something that was disappointing is there is a “Happy + Healthy” surcharge added to the bill. It may be disclosed on the menu, but unless you’re specifically looking for it, it’s easy to miss. We didn’t realize it until we got the check. We did ask for it to be removed and they did.
They also promote a monthly donation option where guests can vote for which cause they want them to support. While that’s thoughtful, it feels like it would make more sense to eliminate the surcharge and direct those funds straight to the employees instead of adding extra fees. Greater transparency upfront would improve the overall experience.

Superva Bakery is Superb! Get there early so you can get the baked goods, but even if you come in for a sit-down breakfast either way, grab and go sit down and stay, it’s wonderful. Absolutely one of my favorite go-to places!

Excellent for brunch!! Not the cheapest place but the atmosphere and the feel is really nice. Waiters are great and the food is excellent. Check out their sandwich with golden syrup & candied pecans or their omelette with Boursin and Chive…one of the best we got !

Most of the dishes you see in the reviews are no longer on the menu. They advertise brunch, but honestly it feels a bit misleading.
On top of that, we were charged the most ridiculous fee I’ve ever paid a “happy and healthy surcharge.” No one mentioned it to us beforehand or asked for consent. It just appeared on the bill.
Overall, the experience didn’t match the expectations at all.

I’m really disappointed with my recent visit. I had been here years ago and was looking forward to coming back, but unfortunately the experience this time was horrible.
I came in with my toddler and was happy to take a small two-top table. However, I felt uncomfortable with the attitude from one of the staff members at the door.
When I placed my coffee on the neighboring empty table, I mentioned I would move it if someone comes in, but I received an annoyed look. Then, when my 3 yr old accidentally broke some crayons, there was another visible reaction that made me feel uncomfortable. I understand that working in service can be stressful, but a little kindness goes a long way.
Part of our order was incorrect. The croissant we ordered was forgotten, and then it was brought out when I reminded them.
Overall, the service felt disorganized, with staff walking around seemingly without coordination.
I truly hope the management considers providing additional training for the team. With better organization and a more welcoming attitude, this place could offer a much more enjoyable experience. Right now it doesn’t.

Over an hour for two salads and a pasta dish. What? Waitress coming by all of 3 times (30 minutes after we were seated to ask for drink order, a flag down for the second encounter asking for water, and finally a flag down for the check). We honestly did not see her on the floor. The restaurant was not busy. We had to ask the busser for water because she did not bring it after we asked. Due to the terrible service we will not be back.
The food was excellent. Great flavors and textures.
The atmosphere was wonderful. Not too loud, clean, and modern.

Stopped by today for brunch.
The ambiance was great, and the service was good.
The all-day breakfast sandwich was wonderful, including special potatoes on the side that seemed like to be a mix of boiled and baked, different and tasty!
We also got a cinnamon bun, which was over sweet and drowned in syrup! a bit much for our taste, though not unusual for the U.S. as sweets tend to be quite sweet.
However, the lady manager was so kind, offering to replace the cinnamon bun with a morning bun after explaining they had recently made some recipe changes.
The replacement was fresh, delicious, and just the right phase of sweetness for us.
Her kindness turned what would have been a 4-star experience into a 5-star one.
As for the coffee quality, it was acceptable but as a coffee person I had expected more inside the ACME cups .

Great brunch spot and simple menu. Food portions are pretty big and quite flavourful. Prices are okay. Not the prettiest restaurant tbh. But would come here again! Food is good and service is good. They have a “happy and healthy” 3% fee which is automatically applied… made our bill kind of expensive along with tax and tip. You can remove it though, it’s an opt out thing.
