Very friendly staff and good food. This was our first visit to a TGI Friday. The server was super friendly and the food came out quick. The food was very typical of a chain type “family restaurant.” It was hot and tasted good. Burgers were cooked right and wings were juicy.

Not allergy friendly at all. Their menu is rough with allergies but most chain restaurants you can make out ok with help from the serving staff. The whole experience was weird. The server was acting like he wanted to be cool with us, but didn’t want to do the work bc we were a big party. No plates for appetizers, no straws with alcoholic drinks, never cleared plates until someone in our party got annoyed and stacked everything at the end of the table. He even tried to serve us a kids lemonade that had a napkin in it. There’s no way to manage that unless you grabbed a drink off of a tray table that had been cleared bc how do you manage to fill a clear cup and not notice there is a napkin in it??!!
Anyway my daughter is allergic to egg and dairy. I asked questions and didn’t get great answers, and one point he said the meal I inquired about “should be ok”. I can’t do should be. If I eat eggs or dairy my daughter gets severe eczema and if she has egg she could go into anaphylaxis. Someone else at the table ordered French fries for all the kids. The server was right there and fries are typically pretty basic and one of the few things my daughter can eat at restaurants so I just double checked and asked the server. I said she can have those right, no eggs no dairy. This man looked me in the eye and said yes. My mistake for trusting him. Today we’re having a huge eczema flare and diarrhea. I checked their online allergen menu and their fries are seasoned and have all of her allergens plus others. We’re incredibly lucky that she didn’t have a severe reaction yesterday. Overall this experience was strange, and I should have been more on top of it myself, but now I am very very angry. If you don’t know if something has an allergen ASK the kitchen, not lie straight to my face and confidently tell me no! If have allergies, do not eat here. In fact just don’t eat here at all bc who serves someone a kids drink that was already served to another table and has a napkin in it?! Serving food/drinks that has already hit another table is a hugeee health code violation, and a fireable offense at any restaurant I’ve worked at. You can say you “didn’t know” the fries were seasoned, but you can’t tell me you didn’t know that drink was on another table.

Got there around 5 pm and had to wait about 10 minutes for someone to acknowledge that we were there. We actually ended up having to ask the bartender if there was a host. I was so excited to eat here because our local one in south carolina closed years ago. We were so disappointed. The potato skins were tinny. I ordered the sizzling chicken and the cheese was two pieces of American cheese burned on the bottom with no cheese on the tiny dry piece of chicken. The 6 small shrimp were ran through marina sauce and set on top. The sauce wasnt even hot. I ate the food because we waited over 30 minutes for our meal and we still had two hours of our ten hour drive left. When the waitress ( who was so sweet and kind) asked how the food was we were honest and just said we had really been looking forward to eating here and was so disappointed. She wanted to let her manager know bc the manager wants everyone to leave with a smile. Apparently that manager wasn’t working. The one that was working could not bothered to come talk to us. We are NOT leaving with a smile and my mom said honeslty this was the worst meal ever. I was sorry I had recommended it.

Great place to socialize! Great services, great food and drinks, great servers and bartenders, of course!!!! On top of that, the management is awesome! Quick to respond to the customers’ needs effectively. I come here very often, and it’s very safe. The manager, Ty is also awesome! I love the fact that she always rolls her sleeves and helps her team whenever they’re overloaded.

service isnt all ways the best especially when super packed but the fact that the actually care about there guest and bring all types of added events and shows is the best part for me. they have had everything from live bands to dj’s ( i hate the karaoke DJ she is rude and only lets the regulars get on the mic ) but the thought is where its at for me also the live bands on Friday nights was a wonderful a fresh idea ive never seen done at a fridays before. i give there marketing and creativeness a 10 out of 10 the food is normally good as long as you dont make any changes to the meal seems like the cook cant read at times or the waiter doesn’t tell the cooks what was asked at the table but over all im pleased

We returned to Fridays after a hiatus due to illness. We sat down and the horrible waitress came over. We moved to the bar where Nic treated us royally. Thanks to Nic and Ms. Washington from corporate for treating us so well!

We love the food so much and regretted going to another place for lunch near our gym last week where the tab was $50+ for a terrible lunch.

Fridays food is always tasty, affordable and fresh at the Tech Road location.

UPDATE: Tuesday, October 21, 2025:
Received a call from the GM of Fridays who apologized profusely and offered us a coupon.

We will be avoiding Cindy, the waitress, on an ongoing basis.

UPDATE Friday, October 17, 2025:

Last 2 visits were a disaster. Our previous visit (September 18, 2025) was for National Cheeseburger Day. The gluten-free roll was inedible and the burger was so salty that I asked for it to be remade without the roll and on a bed of lettuce. The burger was raw and inedible that I could not finish my meal (see below).

Fast Forward to today: There was a BOGO for National Pasta Day. We read the flyer carefully and it did not specifically say that we had to order pasta. I am allergic to wheat and would not have been able to eat Pasta of any kind!

We asked the waitress who insisted that we “had to order pasta!” We asked to speak with the manager. We were not rude or defensive, but the waitress made a snarky comment about our asking for assistance from the manager every time that we come in! We used to really like this waitress, but as time went on, she has become bossy, authoritative and rude.

The manager came out and said that she had tried to put in non-pasta dishes and the application would not let her do so. She admitted that the ad was misleading and that this was a common occurrence and that these email ads were written poorly. She was very apologetic and was very nice to us, saying that the waitress had been inappropriate and that she would speak with her.

Even though we could have used points for our meal, we left and will probably end our relationship with Fridays.

We don’t want to change the times that we go to a restaurant to avoid an inappropriate employee. Rather, we will go where we can get good and polite service along with good food.

Wings and salad! Also love the ribs. We are lucky enough to still have a Fridays in our neighborhood. Wish they had a better manager. Current manager is horrible, disagreeable and misinformed about specials and emails that we receive. He also has an “attitude!” We are often told that an offer does not exist and we have to produce proof from our email account.

Servers are very helpful. Unfortunately, there seems to be a “revolving door” when it comes to staffing. There is no consistency and restaurant is understaffed. quieter section where we like to sit is always closed.

Hopefully business will improve. We do not want this location to close.

Food was delicious for a chain restaurant. I had the French onion soup and a cobb salad. My daughter had the Cobb as well and my granddaughter had the ribs and tender special. She enjoyed hers as well.

I ordered sesame chicken strips through DoorDash and unfortunately was left quite disappointed. The Chicken was not fully cooked parts were visible pink and undercooked which immediately raised concerns about food safety since it can pose serious health risks. Of course I did not eat it but I really hope the restaurant steps up its quality control in the kitchen because an issue like this can easily ruin what could have been an enjoyable meal.

My friend and I arrived around 9:00. There was no one at the front when we walked in, and we stood there for about 10 minutes before anyone noticed us and seated us. Once seated, we waited another 15 minutes before someone came to take our order. After that, it took about half an hour for our food to arrive. We honestly considered going across the street to IHOP, but by then we had already started our drinks.
The food was good, but I wouldn’t wait that long for it again. We asked our server for refills even though our drinks were only halfway finished, simply because we weren’t sure when we would see her again. We had planned on ordering dessert, but didn’t have another hour to spare. In the end, we paid, tipped, and went across the street to IHOP.

Worst part is it wasn’t even busy.
