Giving credit where it is due!
My truck is in the shop so while at work, I ordered lunch through Door Dash. I ordered the 3 pc tender combo.
What I received was about 8 pcs of chicken! (plus my side, drink and a biscuit as normal)
Okay… don’t judge but I was starving from not having time to eat dinner the night before so the timing was perfect and I had 6 🙂 The others went to co-workers so they did not go to waste!
I do wish that on the app, there is an option for honey packets in the sauce area. One for the biscuit is not enough when you want it for the chicken as well. Amazing give there Plainfield store!

Came in last minute before closing, which makes me feel bad, but they were very accommodating. Food was hot and DELICIOUS. Came here after being let down by horrible service at plainfield waffle house

I don’t usually rate all areas a 1 star but I did here. Went to this location hoping for better service than other locations but was again left disappointed.
We ordered online and scheduled a pickup for 1 hour later. We ordered the 16pc tender family meal. Picked fries, mashed potatoes and gravy, and paid the upcharge for Mac n cheese. I also ordered a 3 pc mix to go with this.
Fast forward and due to traffic we did not arrive until we were 5 minutes late. We go to drive-thru and tell them my name and they tell us to pull around. We waited in line and eventually were told to pull into lane 1 spot and they’d bring it out.
We then waited for 25 minutes in the parking lot waiting for our food. Other customers that just ordered were receiving their food but we waited. At this point it’s 30 minutes after and the gentleman walks out and hands us 1 bag. He can tell we are not happy about the wait and after handing us the bag he walked away and didnt say a word.
We then drive home which is about 20 minutes and open the bag. We received all of the items except for the upcharged Mac n cheese, however the food we did receive was not good.
The chicken was very over-cooked and chewy, the fries were cold and hard, the mashed potatoes were mashed potatoes and gravy but also cold. Some of this I can say OK.. it took 20 minutes to get home but still unusually cold. Not receiving the overpaid Mac n cheese was a big bummer and well the kids didnt like the fries so…
The food and service were awful and I do not recommend this or really any popeyes location, at least in this general vicinity of IN. I would request a refund, but know I won’t get one.

I waited 45 minutes for two meals. I got the 4 piece tender meal with mashed potatoes and gravy. But the tenders look like tiny pieces of shrimp this is supposed to be my dinner after working a 12 hours shift. I don’t think a little kid could get full on this.
Highly disappointed I used to get great service at this location but the last 4 times I’ve gone they have made me wait atleast 30 minutes for chicken jurkey and they seem annoyed at me.

The food was great tasted amazing. However it seems like all popeyes are trying to rip people off. Every time i visit they seem to always be out of large containers but only for red beans and rice and give me three small one instead. Anyone can see that those tiny containers barely have anything in them. Its poor management or a scam all together.

Popeyes.. your drink cup/lid situation is a JOKE. You can dump a McDonald’s cup over on the table and the lid doesn’t even think about coming off. YOUR LID BLEW OFF on the way to my truck along with getting coke on me. That little problem gave me a negative vibe about my entire interaction here. More people should complain…
FYI the ceiling tiles above the drinks bar are supposed to be vinyl rock (wipeable)

It’s either your food’s going to taste real great here, or sometimes not. It’s like they’re 50/50 with everything, besides that, they’re nice workers. Oh, one more thing, their bathroom smells like the sewage and is always dirty. Next time I visit, I may take a picture on how it looks, and post it here for confirmation on how bad it looked. The dining area’s always clean. Overall nice workers, and ehhh everything else.

10-18-2025 made order in drive thru. Proceeded to the window to pay and get order, only to witness an employee go by food (fries) (chicken) to watch him pick out food with his bare hands and eat it . No gloves or nothing, being aghast he then did it 2 more times, just walking by and grabbing food and eating it .
Are you serious!!. How disgusting!!. Needless to say we drove off.. time was approximately 4:30-5:20 pm. You should be closed down if this is acceptable by this company!.

Worst service ever, went and ordered a chicken sandwich fries drink and a large red beans and rice and this is a large it’s half full. Waited 25 mins for chicken, so I walked in to check and my food along with 10 other chicken sandwiches were on the counter. They were telling people 25-35 mins for chicken and chicken strips and sand which we. No food ready at all!

It was good as usual! There was five of us so we had a variety of things. Red beans and rice is always one we always get it’s a favorite. We tried the Cajun fish sandwich it was good it was spicy but it was good. We had chicken strips they said those were good and the chicken sandwiches everybody that got one got the classic I tend to take the pickle off mine because it’s too much dill but they’re delicious.
