Overall our experience was very average. Service was not great and they were out of many items because of Valentine’s Day. Our steaks could have been seasoned more but the mashed potatoes were very good. In the main dining area it felt very crowded being seated within a couple feet of another table making it feel less private. That said, the drinks were great and parking was ample.

What a great experience! We had a small group, and the experience was perfect. The service was superb. The steak was outstanding and perfectly cooked (and the side of Grit Cakes was worth it!). Could not have asked for a better evening.

We had a wonderful Valentine’s Day brunch at Mesh! We made a reservation a couple days ahead with no issues. Service was excellent and food was amazing. Mesh has become one of my favorite places to dine in Louisville.

This was our first time dining at Mesh but I’m sure it won’t be our last. Our server, Hannah, took excellent care of us. The employees actually seemed to enjoy being there! Adam, the assistant mgr, noticed my husband had gotten sauce on his shirt and immediately brought over soda water to help remedy the situation. That was above and beyond and such a classy thing to do. We had calamari for a starter and entrees included shrimp and grits, scallops and crème brûlée cheesecake. Foods and cocktails were all delicious!

We sampled five side dishes and all were very tasty. The smoked mac and cheese was very good. A creamy cheddar with just enough smoke. The brussels augratin was creamy and tender. We also enjoyed a decadent chocolate dessert. The service was wonderful and the restaurant is very stylish but comfortable.

Solid choice but spendy. I guess that’s the bottom line up front.

Rolled in for a Monday night dinner with the wife and her best friend from PRPHS. We live several hundred miles away so any trip to the Lou is an opportunity for us to try new places.

Started with the fried green tomatoes. Full disclosure, I grew up in a northern city and these may well have been my first restaurant-prepared fried green tomatoes. Definitely the best I’ve had and loved the assortment of other tasty stuff on the plate besides the fried tomatoes. Lovely dressing on the lettuce garnish as well as an interesting goat cheese mousse that I’ll attempt to recreate at home and whipped pimento cheese. Yum!

My main was their braised short rib. Maybe the two double bourbons I drank were coloring my memory but I’m confident that I loved my meal more than the others at the table. Menu description includes [sic] smoked gouda potato cake, brussels sprouts, butternut squash purée, red wine reduction & demi glacé. Every bite was amazing!

Other stuff that hit the table but which I didn’t try included their ribeye and lobster mac & cheese.

Dessert was their peanut butter pie. Wife’s favorite but other options appealed to me a little bit more.

Of note: service and bourbon selection. They also have some great tequilas on-hand but I had bourbon on the brain last night.

Absolutely love Mesh! I’ve been here several times, including for my mom’s 65th birthday and even right after my wedding we came straight here for brunch! Every dish I’ve tried has been incredible. The short rib is so tender you can cut it with a spoon, and the short rib grilled cheese is unforgettable. The grit fritters, the burger honestly, everything is top-tier.

The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, with a cozy ambiance and a beautiful fireplace that adds a nice touch. The seating is spacious and comfortable you’re not crammed in or sitting too close to other tables, which I really appreciate. The staff is always attentive and friendly, making sure your experience is smooth from start to finish.

Great food, great service, and a great location. If you haven’t been yet, you’re truly missing out definitely give Mesh a try!

Great spot for any occasion! We had a business lunch and they accommodated 9 of us well. Our waiter was excellent and knowledgeable about the food to answer questions about food allergies. The menu is labeled with gluten free and vegetarian options. But, a dairy allergy always adds another level and always includes questions. While I didn’t partake of the appetizers, my meal was delicious. I recommend the salmon! They were able to cook it without butter and sub out sides. So, varied carrots and spinach and sauteed mushrooms for the win!

Thursday night. Very nice crowd. Great great cocktails! Dinner…2 salads were forgotten until reminded. Bread pudding recipe needs more attention. Chicken Madeira! Excellent!!
