Overall i’d rate this a”meh” food was just ok and the cook didn’t have energy for us he was not fun like the other table’s cook. It seemed like he was ready to be done with work. lacked entertaining and people skills. The food was just ok and the watered down salad dressing was lacking. I would not return. i could’ve bought same ingredients and cooked at home for better taste and overall experience

I have been to other hibachi’s and enjoyed them. This one was horrible from beginning to end. We had a large group and waited over 1.5 hours due to the guy not writing our name down when we checked in. After we waited 30 min at the table for a cook the grill stopped worked while our raw food was in it. To top it off the food was overly salty and could eat it. Side note the ventilation was poor and it was Smokey by the end of the evening. I will never return and will advise others the same.

I had the best experience at the Hibachi in Bear last night. It was my first time there and I will definitely be going back. The food was amazing. The server Jess was more than helpful and made sure that our order was correct and she made sure we had everything we needed. I cannot say enough about the experience and service. I really enjoyed the whole dinner.

This place was great even while packed the wait was not long. The appetizers were absolutely perfect the deluxe sampler is the best definitly reccomend. The hibachi food was great a little generous on the onions compared to average but overall great flavor especially if you like teriyaki.

We’re never coming back. Today the food was awful. The rice was a mushy mess (seemed rice was overcooked and not drained) and outright disgusting. The New York Strip was tough and lacked favor. The cook would chat “eat it, eat it” every time he placed food in the plate. The table was plagued with customers that lacked table manners. One girl had a person on FaceTime. Thanks, we heard your whole conversation. Once that stopped the woman in the other end of the table began watching videos on her phone also with the speaker on. No thanks!! Bad food, bad service (drinks not refilled) and a bad atmosphere. 3 strikes! That’s it!

I would have loved to give this place 5 stars but… a hibachi grill without soup is a red flag & I should have walked out at that point but I decided to give them the benefit of the doubt…. Welp I ordered a half & half, they didn’t have lemonade… So I just got water instead, I ordered the Hibachi special which as Lobster, filet, shrimp, scallops. The filet was a perfect medium as I requested but the lobster and scallops where overcooked, the shrimp where perfect, and the food overall had flavor and taste good. Service was lackluster at best, it wasn’t busy at all, I was at a table all alone, and there was a party of all fair skinned people next to me, my waitress seemed to favor them much more than me, I got my drink and salad and never saw her at my table again until the check…

Normally would give a 5 star. We go here all the time & never have an issue. Tonight, however, I ordered steak & shrimp with extra rice & no broccoli in the veggies. The waitress Jessica repeats my order. When the cook comes, he distributes the rice & no extra rice. Also, when he did the veggies he mixed everything together. I said I didn’t want any broccoli. When the waitress finally came back around, I asked her did she not ring in my extra rice. She said oh no I didn’t. So, ok she gets another cook to I guess make my rice. I told her I also said no broccoli in the veggies. She did inform me that they were cooking my veggies in the back. At this point I was just ready to go. She messed my order up twice. Discounted or not, if I am paying for food, it should be made right. Nobody else at the full table food was wrong. I know it wasn’t the cooks fault which is the ONLY reason they got a tip. As a regular customer, I will not be returning for a while. The normal server we usually get (I don’t know her name she has glasses) is always on point. The cooks are always great. But Jessica absolutely not.

Typically I have a great experience at this location. However, today I called an order for vegetable fried noodles in and the meal was disappointing. There were no vegetables at all. If I was told that was not available I would have ordered a side of vegetables. I was told that the vegetables are really on the lighter side like just onions. That is not vegetable fried noodles. I think employees taking call in orders should have a clear understanding of what is available and what is not.
