The best seafood boil meal in the bay area is at Boiling Crab. Our favorites are shrimps, whole sha-bang sauce, medium spicy. My preference is 1/2 a pound $9. This time we tried the blue crab which is $25 for 2 crabs. The other stuff were fine. Fried scallops $19, fried calamari rings $12 and fried shrimps $16. That Cajun, garlic butter and lemon pepper on the seafood is what makes it perfect. Service was excellent. Boiling Crab is always a fun place to be because of the lively atmosphere and young staff. Good job guys.

This was one of the best meals I’ve had in a long time and I don’t say that lightly. The ambience, food, service, everything was beyond my expectations. I love the decorations in the store and the booths provide privacy as well as helping with noise control. I ordered King Crab legs and one of the two legs were overly soft and had limp meat. My partner and I were concerned about it so we talked to our server, he consulted his manager, who came to us and offered to give us a new leg & claw or a discount as compensation. We chose the new leg and the meat was incredible! It was juicy, flavorful, perfectly cooked, and fresh. Our server was also incredibly pleasant the entire evening. We are definitely coming back here for special occasions and tonight was worth every penny!

Pretty sure this restaurant gave me moldy lobster which they claimed was “tomale” which would be the pancreas but there was some all around the lobster including the legs!! And it had only been 2/3 days and was stored in the fridge and this had also appeared the day I got it customer service also didn’t try to create a resolution so I was stuck paying $100+ dollars for spoiled food

We love seafood and this restaurant is amazing! We had shrimp, crab legs and mussels. Shrimp has the best value. Crab legs and mussels were also good. Sauce was tasty and seafoods were so fresh.
Since this place has such delicious food with good value, the line is always long. The first time we went here we were told to wait around 2 hours, which was crazy. So we didn’t end with having lunch here. The second time we went earlier and waited for half hour. Our two visits were for weekends lunch, maybe it would not be that busy on weekdays.

i’ve been around the world…. this place was very interesting to say the least. they charged me nearly 500 bucks for 5 crabs! oh my heavens! Even gods bleed! To any soul who thinks about going here… Kickin Crab or Crab Bay is pretty nearby. I much prefer those places if I were you. Oh God! How I dread day and night of every penny I’ve lost to this crab….. it must of included somesort of immortal elixir!

Don’t be afraid for ‘Market Price’.
For 2 guys, $ 100 ~ 150 was also enough to enjoy dishes.
And special sauce makes dishes very good also. You can add some toppings like corns, boiled rice, … Etc to enjoy it more.

This place is awesome. First time for us, we ordered shrimp with the head on, muscles and crab with a side of corn and Cajun fries, the sauce was a mix of all 4 in each item(shabang sauce) and was finger licking tasty. We opted for mild and the spice was just right for my kids. I’ve never had seafood this tasty. The whole experience was amazing. Only tip which we learnt after looking at people around us, ask for gloves, and as long as you don’t mind eating messy this is the place for you. I thought the pricing was very reasonable for what we ate. Our server was awesome and all the servers always asked how we were doing. Excellent service . He showed us how to open the crab without breaking through it violently and we totally enjoyed. We’ll be doing this again soon. Tasty and fun!

This particular Boiling Crab has the best flavor and fast service. The crab fries are essential along with the shrimp and Cajun fries. I always get “the whole shebang” flavor because the garlic and spices that settles at the bottom are the best thing to pour over some fries. I literally scoop it out and take it home in sauce containers.
