Mixed emotions here. Depends on what you order. Chorizo plate was delicious. The Torta, was average. The taqutos should have been made fresh, there not hard to make but seems like they serve microwave taqutos. Drinks were pretty good. The restaurant tries really hard to serve authentic meals from back home but they have to work what they can get on the Island. So it makes sense. It’s not there fault.

I was alittle surprised at the low rating! I am sure
Glad I chose to ignore them! This place was amazing! I’m sure things don’t always go right, but this place for us was amazing! Great all around place!

We have eaten here 3 times in the last 14 days on Kauai. The hand made tamales were fabulous. The half double grid chicken was delightful. Enchiladas were Devine. Photois half gone I could not wait

Living in Hawaii, I know the struggle of finding authentic Mexican food on the islands. Then I came to Kaui for the first time and checked this place out.
My family and I fell instantly in love. The food was incredibly delicious. From the warm menudo soup to the juicy, thick burritos to the best dessert I’ve had in years – churros with a chocolate dipping sauce that will blow your mind – I can’t recommend it enough. Had to hit this place twice on our trip. Can’t wait to come back for more.

Came in for a late lunch and happened to be Happy Hour. The setting is comfortable with Great Wall paintings. We were seated within minutes with water and menus awaiting us. Rosy was our server and she was friendly and helpful. The nachos supreme were super and quickly consumed. The pitcher of Cadillac Margaritas was appreciated by the adults and kids had virgin pina coladas. The veggie tacos were a knockout, fresh and nicely seasoned. Street tacos came as 5 individual tacos, and the Al pastor tostada was great. The carne asada and mole enchiladas were great dishes for the kids. The food was authentic, fresh, nicely seasoned and served together. Highly recommend Mariachi’s if you want a filling and tasty meal!

Ate here for dinner on a Saturday night. Love the open feel. Service was decent.
My food was decent. Not amazing. Ordered a carne asada chimichanga and was a bit surprised that the whole thing was full of meat (no beans, etc). Not bad necessarily, but dry as a result and the flavor was lacking.
My wife had the fish tacos and loved them.
Would go back.

Came for dinner and had a great experience. The ceviche and fajitas were both on point and freshly made. Service was quick and friendly. Prices are comparable with other restaurants here in Kauai. Plates were about $20. A pitcher of beer was $26.

My wife and I decided to try this place one more time since Monicos moved to KoloaThe food was and tasted like a Swansons frozen T.V. dinner, it was awful. The Mad Max road noise and smell of diesel exhaust was not a good atmosphere. The people running the place were nice but we paid $60 for a horrible Mexican food meal.

Mariachi’s was fantastic! The food was amazing! I tried the ceviche and the shrimp beer-battered tacos, and the piña colada was delicious. The service was excellent, and the atmosphere made the whole experience even better. I would definitely recommend this spot for anyone looking for great food and a fun, welcoming vibe.

We were staying in Princeville and came to Kapa’a to walk around and shop. We had lunch at Mariachis. It was a Friday when we came, after the lunch crowd, so the place was not crowded. We both ordered the shrimp and carne asada burrito, and I had a beer. We both enjoyed the food, and the beer was good. The servers were nice, but not that attentive. Only when we were ready to pay our bill did the server come to refill our water glasses. Still, a good experience.
