Visited from Toronto, Canada.

What a gem of an authentic French restaurant. This place is small but reaches high with its food. Their french onion soup was refreshing instead of salty. Their main steak tartare & scallops dishes were phenomenal! Lastly they have great daily specials and desserts.

Highly recommend this restaurant while in Paris!

Visited this restaurant in July 2025 after a day of exploring the Notre Dame Basilique and it did not disappoint! I tried tartare here for the first time and the meat was perfectly moist, nicely seasoned and tasted fresh. It was my first time to try such a dish, and I enjoyed it thoroughly. I had crème brûlée for desert and it had the signature crispy top layer and creamy goodness underneath.

Seating was plentiful, but I would say that if you come in a group of more than 4 people, you may have trouble finding seats as most tables had room for four chairs. Alternatively, you’d have to combine tables which may or may not be possible depending on how vacant the rest of the seats are. There was also outdoor dining space. Restrooms are located below ground.

The restaurant was well organized and service was relatively fast. Props to the restaurant owner for this one — A group of new customers came by looking for a spot in the restaurant, but it was packed that day and all the seats were taken. We were almost done eating and offered to leave so they could sit, but the owner insisted that we stay to enjoy the rest of our meal. Excellent hospitality that shows they care for the wellbeing and satisfaction of their customers.

Thanks for making my evening in Paris memorable!

Incredibly delicious family-owned bistro.

Decadent food, fast and friendly service.

Escargot was divine,
Caesar salad was super unique and loaded with yummy chicken,
Braised beef was deeply satisfying and savory.
My partner and I shared all of the above plus two glasses of wine for about 75 Euro total.

Good sized portions,
And the food is so good it feels like it could easily be pricier.

The place is small, so you’ll be sitting close to strangers… but the vibes are top notch thanks to the friendly owners/staff.

My girl and I are so glad we chose this place for our first meal in Paris.
There were some locals there too so I know it’s not some tourist trap.
Real deal fo sho.

Food was solid. I had their steak tartare. It was so good I went there again on the same trip. The couple next to me was having the beef wine stew, which also looked extremely delicious.

Staff are friendly. Kitchen is highly efficient. Clean and cozy atmosphere.

Definitely a restaurant I want to go back again.

Very much enjoyed our visit but disappointed. 1730-ish reservation and saucisse was out for the day. Clothes permeated with the scent of the kitchen. Beef shin was the best meal of four (melt in your mouth) but the fries were spectacular.

Nonetheless, service was very good. On the small side for the main dining rom with WCs clean and on the lower level. Heard of this as a budget buy but not so much. We would still return.

We had a wonderful experience at Le P’tit Bistrot. From the moment we walked in, the staff were incredibly warm and welcoming. They were also very attentive. They took our order quickly and the food arrived without a long wait.

The food was absolutely delicious. My husband ordered the braised beef fondant in red wine sauce, bourguignon style, served with bacon, mashed potatoes, and mushrooms. The beef was incredibly tender and full of flavor. Honestly one of the best dishes we had during our trip. I ordered the steak tartare and it was also very good.

The prices are very reasonable for the portion sizes, the quality of the food, and the overall experience. You really feel like you’re getting great value.

We enjoyed it so much that we actually wanted to come back again on Sunday, but unfortunately the restaurant was closed. Still, now we know this is definitely a place we will return to the next time we’re in Paris.

Food was delicious, the beef tartar was fresh and tangy from the mustard seeds (we replaced the fries with mashed potatoes) I didn’t take a picture but the burger was huge and it was ground steak. Escargot has a very savoury parsley butter sauce, perfect with bread (ask for extra to dip it in the sauce). Boeuf fondant has great home style mashed potatoes and delicious red wine sauce. I would definitely come back the next time I’m in Paris. Service was decent, we were seated upstairs and it felt like a private room with 5-6 tables with a nice view from the windows. Enjoy!

A fantastic dining experience. They only have two staff serving when we went there. Despite that, the attention given to every customer was amazing. It was fantastic. We ordered from the menu of the day. Price was reasonable. The toilet is clean. .Would I go back? Of course! I am still under the influence of the lovely Chardonnay whilst writing this review i do not lie under the influence! Highly recommended! merci!
