Stopped in at Seis Kitchen on River Road and it never disappoints. The food is fresh, full of flavor, and made with real care. Everything tastes clean and bold at the same time, from the tortillas to the meats to the sauces.
The tacos were outstanding, packed and balanced, and the sides were just as good. You can taste that nothing here is rushed or mass produced. It feels like real Sonoran style cooking done right.
The staff were friendly and efficient, and the place has a relaxed, upbeat vibe that makes it easy to enjoy your meal without feeling hurried.
If you’re in Tucson and want great tacos and consistently good food, Seis is always a solid choice.

Horchata is all ice, why the workers wanna scalp me so hard? They also scrapped their two best meats puerto verde and cochinita pibil. Their puerco verde torta was so good and they got rid of it. They pretty much force you to get two sides or else a taco is 7.50 each, and the sides are just really bad. This place used to be so much better.

The Avacado Taco is primo. The esquites wasn’t exactly what I was expecting, but very tasty nonetheless. The Spicy Margarita was the shining star of the meal, though. Absolutely recommend. I know cilantro is a staple of SW cuisine, but every dish our party had was covered in it. Definitely worth taking note if you aren’t a fan! Staff didn’t seem very knowledgeable about menu and was bothered to be asked for more chips. Otherwise pretty great casual dining experience.

Absolutely love the food and drinks here and I wish I could give this place a 5 star rating but I cannot because of the service. The young gentleman that checked us in was friendly but he forgot one of our drinks and we waited a very long time on our food. We waited around 40 minutes for our food and the servers and cooks did not seem to care. In fact we could see the kitchen from where we sat, and there was absolutely no motivation! Like I said food was amazing and if the service gets better it would be a great place!

Margies were delicious, chips and salsa terrific however the tacos platters were underwhelming. We had chicken tinga, puerco verde, carne asada and just not very flavorful and corn tortillas fell apart instantly. I like the environment and staff were great so I’d try again … maybe burritos or nachos.

Seriously insanely delicious!!!!!
The family went here on a Thursday at 7pm and had no issues getting food, drinks, and a table in a reasonable time. The restaurant is beautiful with plenty of parking around. Both inside and outside seating available!
Appetizers – chips and salsa
Main Entree for me – 3 taco platter with fried avocado, flank steak, carnitas (flank steak and fried avocado my favorite)
Drinks – we got a margarita pitcher which was more than enough for us 3! Honestly could probably do perfect for a family of 4 (drinking age of course).
Seis was highly reviewed by my friends and it did NOT disappoint.

I will say, I am totally biased. But. Seis is one of my Tucson faves for both personal and “professional” Google reasons. The food never disappoints, and I always stop by for the horchata iced coffee regardless of whether I get a meal or not. I’m partial to breakfast as the bacon tacos are to die for. The tacos on homemade tortillas are the icing on the cake. Beans and rice, stellar. The addition of FREE table side chips and salsa, winning! They definitely brought their game up. Stop in to any of the locations. The ambiance is top notch. The service is counter typical. But the food, and the owners~ ah-mazing! Emphasis on maize.

This was my first time at Seis Kitchen, and I was not disappointed. It was a warm Sunday afternoon, and I ate outside on the patio. I ordered the seafood taco medly ( grilled fish, crunchy fish, and shrimp), which came with a side salad. Everything was delicious, and I had no room for dessert. I will be back and recommend Seis Kitchen to anyone looking for a nice Mexican meal.

I went to the new location on Tanque Verde. I used to frequent the original location on Congress. The atmosphere is nice at Tanque Verde, but the courtyard on Congress has a better vibe. I will never order a Mexico City again. The puerco verde used to be delicious. It was very dry, flavorless. It no longer is a green sauce. It has canned green chiles. None of the staff look happy to be there. They were inattentive and cold. Tucson has good Mexican food, unfortunately, this place is not it.

Horrible service tonight after going to the downtown location where they leave people on line while not taking orders. We tried this one and it wasn’t much better. The food is worse and margaritas are made with cheap tequila.no Don Julio here. We are absolutely done with Seis at any location. spent over $100 for 4 tacos, guacamole & a couple crappy margaritas. Not ever again!
