What a great place. Excellent vibe with upscale electric decor, many staying options including a beautiful rooftop section with its own bar. The food was very fresh and tasty. The Wagyu Beef Stroganoff is delicious and very filling. We really enjoyed watching Kemp mix drinks, as he’s talented and fast, and a performer in his own right. He went above-and-beyond by asking us about our plans and then recommending restaurants in the areas we plan to visit. Everyone was friendly.

The food was excellent and well prepared. Our server, Sami, was especially kind she kept checking in to make sure we had everything we needed, and I really appreciated her service. Anyone who gets her as their server is truly lucky.
There’s a parking lot in the back with 90 minutes of free parking, which is convenient.
Overall, it’s a place worth visiting if you want good food with a relaxed atmosphere.

Brussels Sprouts was over cooked in black and I thought it was mushrooms.
GRILLED MUSHROOMS was ok.
Wagyu Beef Stroganoff, I will give a C+. The sauce was so thick and so oily. The grass-fed certified humane wagyu beef was ok.
Be honest, I tried a Stroganoff in Marie Callenders and it was good. That’s why I have higher expectations from Grandville.

Excellent ambiance. Monday night, no wait. The Ahi filet and the Angel hair pasta with shrimp were amazing. The flavors were on point. The service was attentive and unhurried. I would come again when I’m in the area.

Granville was a very nice, elegant, place. My biggest issue was that I ordered a waygu burger and when asked how I’d like it, I replied “medium/rare”. It was more medium to medium/well. While delicious, I was still disappointed as my burger was overcooked to my taste.

Food is exceptional. It’s fairly loud inside but not so bad that you can’t have a table conversation. We went on a Saturday night and the wait was less than we were told when we checked in (about 30 minutes) which was nice. Service was rather slow. I’d have had 4 beers rather than 2 if my glass wasn’t empty half the time. But the food…so good.

We arrived around 6 pm without a reservation and we told it would be a 30 minute wait to be seated in the rooftop area. No problem.
15 minutes later my phone was buzzing and our table was ready.
We are sat near the edge of the patio with a pleasant breeze and nice view of Lake Ave.
George, our server, was a real pleasure. He was polite, knowledgeable & attentive but not pushy (& didn’t give us a second thought when all we ordered was lettuce cups, fresh hummus & warm, fluffy pita and really delicious French fries). Yes, that combo wasn’t typical fair for us, but we felt like something different and boy og boy did it hit the spot!
We were both full and thought everything was seasoned well, fresh tasting and the hot items were piping hot.
Ask for BBQ with the fries for an extra treat.

We had such a great evening at Granville. We started upstairs at the rooftop bar — the views of the mountains were incredible, especially as the sun started to set. Great atmosphere up there, relaxed but lively. We ordered the sweet potato fries and a hazy IPA to kick things off — both hit the spot.
Later, we moved indoors and back downstairs to catch the happy hour, which was also a win. My wife tried the vegan chicken sandwich and loved it — packed with flavour and surprisingly hearty. The staff were attentive throughout the night, really friendly without being overbearing. You can tell they actually care about creating a good experience.
Overall, everything felt really smooth, well-paced, and enjoyable. Granville is definitely one of those spots where you can settle in for the whole evening. Highly recommend both for the food and the vibe.

Outstanding experience from start to finish. The atmosphere food and service were top tier. There were a few small issues with my drinks at first but the manager Frank was outstanding. He handled everything immediately professionally and made it right without hesitation.
That level of care and accountability is rare and truly appreciated. Because of Frank this turned into a flawless experience.
