Everything at Joomak was excellent! Plenty of parking options close by. A smile and greeting was extended as soon as I walked in. I knew from other reviews photos and the restaurants website that I was going to order the beef bulgogi.
It was great! A large portion of meat, just enough vegetables and some extra sauce to help the rice get well coated and yummy. The service to-go was fast and well packed. They accept credit cards and Apple Pay, so that is always a great choice to give as payment options. I frequently am traveling on I-71 and was thrilled to see and find this on Google Maps close to the highway. Chain restaurants have their place….however, I much rather prefer to support independent businesses and restaurants. I can’t wait to come back again and try something else!

Good Korean food, friendly and helpful service, food comes out quickly. Would recommend the beef bulgogi or Bibimbap. The dumplings are good as well.

Tried this place for the first time today, and I wish I wouldn’t have waited so long. All of the food was exceptional. Even dishes I have tried at other restaurants and not liked were all very delicious. The people there are very nice, and I cannot recommend this place enough. If you are traveling through on 71 and find yourself feeling hungry, do yourself a favor and skip all the chain restaurants, drive a couple of extra miles, and wait a little bit longer. You will absolutely not be disappointed. I will for sure be back!

We were presently surprised by this authentic korean restaurant. Generous portion sizes. Efficient and friendly services. Flavorful, freshly prepared meals. We tried galbi, bulgogi and spicy pork with dumplings for starters. They were all so tasty. Would love to visit again soon.

I’ve eaten at spectacular Korean restaurants all over the United States. Was this the best? No. But for where it was, it was great. The owners were fantastic, very attentive to their customers, most of whom appeared to be passing through, as we were. We only got the spicy pork and pan fried dumplings, but with the side dishes, it was a great meal. I wish I wasn’t passing through, because I would exhaust the menu in a month. My mother had never had the spicy pork and wanted to take some home for breakfast. Maybe if we had ordered 2 dishes, she would have gotten her wish, but i finished it off. If you live there, try it! If you are passing through, go. Btw, they have soju and makoli!
