Went for HH and sat at the bar. Careful where you sit as the sun sets as it will blind you coming in through the windows. Good HH selection. Tasty tacos. Staff service was efficient and friendly. Ample seating inside and out. New owner taking over, will check it out again and see if it has changed. Decent experience.

We had a wonderful dinner at Old Blinking Light while visiting from out of town. Our server, Nick, was excellent—attentive, friendly, and very knowledgeable about the menu. His recommendations were spot on.
Our group ordered a mix of dishes: fajitas, rolled chicken enchiladas, prime rib, and the prime rib French dip sandwich with duck fat fries. Everything was flavorful and well-prepared, but the French dip and duck fat fries were especially phenomenal.
The restaurant has a casual yet refined atmosphere with a big-city bar feel. Though the décor leans dark, the floor-to-ceiling windows make the space feel open and inviting. We were seated immediately, and service throughout the meal was prompt and attentive.
We may not be local, but this spot was memorable enough that we’ll gladly return the next time we’re in the Denver area.

We went for Valentines Day and had a reservation. We arrived about 15 min early, and we were told to take a seat and wait for our reservation time. We still ended up waiting over 15 min for a table past our reservation time. The hostess was pretty cold and unfriendly… though she was probably pretty overwhelmed with how many people were there for 6:30p reservations. It seemed as though they had booked too many people into the 6:30 timeslot.
When we were seated, our waitress was also not the friendliest, but I’m going to say again, I think they were all overwhelmed.
We ordered drinks, one being a mocktail for my daughter. When it arrived, they could not immediately confirm that it was, in fact, alcohol free. Drinks did take a while to show up.
Our food arrived, and everything was pretty great with our food. I recommend the duck fat fries!
We enjoyed the history of the restaurant and the decorative touches throughout.
I hope to try it again, maybe when they are less busy and frazzled.

Was extremely disappointed in our service here. I appreciate when a restaurant doesn’t rush me, but the service here was not only slow, but quite inattentive. Our server was not engaging at all, and our glasses were empty for much of the meal. We weren’t offered refills on soft drinks and had to ask for them. A table near us had to ask for a water refill, and personally, I find empty glasses to be a sign of poor service. Another issue was the chips and salsa that we ordered took a long time to be served, and were only on the table for a few minutes before the entrees showed up. The price point was rather high for what was served. Usually, when the food is expensive, perhaps even overpriced, the service makes up for it and offers a great dining experience. This was not the case here. The food was good, the steak in the quesadillas was cooked perfectly and tasted great. The nachos were about average, and the chips and salsa were a bit underwhelming.
Overall it was a disappointing experience and not worth the money spent.

1st time: Food ribs and delicious gluten free chocolate brownie with ice cream. Service is a bit different, we had many different people waiting on us the entire time. 2nd time: we opted for outdoor patio seating since they said they were busy and it would have been a long wait. Outside was a bit cool in October so we asked for the fabric to be let down to block the wind, nobody came so we did it ourselves. The light was out near our table so we had to use our cell phone to read the menu and see our food. I had a cheeseburger and fries, my friend had green chili salmon. Last trip was BBQ pulled pork sandwich that was amazing- the sauce has a bit of spice to it that is wonderful. I had great service. * First time with happy hour bar menu food – deviled eggs were okay, not as good as we hoped. Buffalo chicken Sandwich and duck fat fries were stellar! Gluten free flatbread pizza was good, but needed salt. Thanks

We have been loyal here for 15 years and continue to love this place. The staff is awesome and we’ve watched them all over the years. We love them especially Leslie and Gretchen. So glad we have a good local place in highlands ranch.
