Restaurant was beautiful inside. The server was so nice and attentive. Asked if we were okay the perfect amount of times. The food was delicious! As others have said, the Brussels sprouts were fantastic! Tasted great left over too. We had the shrimp scampi special and lobster roll as well. Both were yummy. I would come back for sure.

Westbrook Lobster in Wallingford was the perfect spot for my mom’s birthday lunch! We sat out on the deck, which had such a nice, relaxed vibe—great for a sunny celebration. We ordered lobster nachos, calamari, Brussels sprouts, and tacos, and everything was delicious. But the standout? Hands down, the lobster nachos—loaded, flavorful, and absolutely crave-worthy. The service was friendly, the food came out quick, and the setting made it all feel extra special. Highly recommend for a laid-back meal with seriously good seafood!

We have been there many times. A few if we knew as regular menu items were not on it. I guess they change the menu up 2x’s a year. I miss the lobster stuffed sole fillet. Food was still good, not that busy for Sunday evening. I had the Larry Pils from Kent falls brewing. Overall it was good by missed the stuff we were used too. Nice visit, enjoy.

This was a pleasant place to stop by at, in Connecticut. I heard they have $1 oysters on Thursdays so that’s what got me to stop by the second time. I’m a lobster fiend, of course, so I had to enjoy one of their lobster rolls, good both times. I enjoy them hot, and the roll was toasted as well just the way I like it and comes with a side of fries, no complaints. The first time I ordered the oysters, and they were great. The second time on $1 Thursdays, not so much, a bit too salty the 2nd time around. The chowder is good here, they have two kinds, for those with a specific preference. Also, cannot forget the adult beverages, there is a full bar, so don’t you fret. It was slightly pricey but that is expected from a seafood establishment. The atmosphere here is kind of, “sexy,” so I’m assuming for romantic purposes this could be good. Low lighting and aphrodisiacs, what more could you ask for in your seafood. I was greeted fairly quick and the staff I have encountered both times were all fantastic, efficient and helpful if necessary. The parking lot is big, but this place can get packed, I lucked out twice in a packed lot. I would come back again.

Convenient location and plenty of free parking. Server was absolutely wonderful. Attentive and friendly and funny. Drinks were yummy. The food was mostly good. We had lobster nachos that were good but the chips were overcooked. Tuscan seafood pasta was good. Stuffed shrimp also good. Lobster tacos were very tasty but the chunks of lobster make it hard to eat. I love lobster but would like it cut smaller in a taco. The key lime pie for dessert was delicious until I found a small hair in it. I have a huge dog at home, so I’m not usually bothered by hair in my food but I’d prefer not to see it when I eat out.

We had an amazing time here. The staff was incredibly friendly, and the atmosphere was cozy and inviting. The lobster roll was an absolute standout – cooked to perfection and packed with flavor.
What made the experience even better was bringing the kids along (5 and 3 years old and an infant). The restaurant was kid-friendly, and the staff was great with them. We will definitely go back when we are in the area again!

Wow! What a fantastic experience I just had at the Westbrook lobster in Wallingford! To start, the atmosphere was wonderful. The bartender we had was extremely attentive and gave us her food right when it was ready. We ordered oysters, which is an amazing special that they have on Thursdays, it’s a dollar for each! How could you go wrong!?! They even shuck them right in front of you in the bar area. Then we ordered the bang bang shrimp we were expecting smaller shrimp but these guys were colossal! Absolutely delicious and what an amazing presentation on the plate. Then to finish it off, we shared a lobster Roll buttered! Fries were definitely made in house. Needless to say, we are now officially going to become regulars.
