The preset appetizers were all delicious, crab cakes, shrimp cocktail, chicken skewers, and deviled eggs. The crab cakes were definitely the star of the appetizers flavorful, perfectly cooked, and unforgettable!
For my entrée, I had the salmon and it was absolutely delicious. The cheesecake for dessert was creamy and so good, and the Riesling paired perfectly with the meal.
A special thank you to Haley and Paul, they both did a wonderful job and made sure everything ran smoothly. Great food, great service, and a great space for private events. I would definitely return!
The lobster especially: gutted, seasoned, pan-seared, topped with Gruyère, and baked back in its shell, it was the most extraordinary lobster I’ve ever had. If I could give 10 stars, I would. An unforgettable, jaw-dropping dining experience!
Our server, Taya, went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed our visit.
Special mention to the manager, Jennifer. My daughter ordered mashed potatoes from the menu, but apparently they’re only served for dinner. Jennifer had a fresh batch made just for her – and then topped it off with two Drift-branded T-shirts for my two daughters.
Last but not least, the food was amazing!
10/10, would definitely recommend.
Towards the end the restaurant got a little crowded so service slightly delayed. Outside of that soooo good. Super clean too…
We ended the night with carrot cake which has to be the best carrot cake I’ve tasted.
Our server was very nice and attentive. The brunch food was good, nothing exceptional but we enjoyed it. However, I was served coffee in a clearly dirty cup – there was still a lipstick print on it (see photo). That tells me not only did the server not pay attention to the cleanliness of the cup, but neither did those responsible for cleaning the dishes. It made me question how safe it is to eat there – on top of it just being gross. The server also brought out the wrong dessert wine – a small issue that by itself wasn’t a problem. It was just all of these missteps put together that made for a not so great overall experience. The view was nice, and the carrot cake was great. The staff members are friendly. I likely won’t return for the experience at this price point.
For the main courses, we shared the 24 oz Porterhouse, and also had the Lamb Stroganoff and Seared Ahi Tuna. Everything was well-prepared and tasted good. For dessert, we ordered the Tiramisu and Dark Chocolate Mousse — both were excellent and highly recommended. We finished with cappuccinos.
The view of the lake was peaceful and added to the atmosphere. Overall, I’d rate the experience an 8 out of 10. Our server was polite but service was slow. We had a 5 PM reservation and didn’t leave until after 8 PM, which felt excessive for the pacing.
What stood out in a disappointing way was how the managers handled the room. Both the male and female floor managers were walking around checking on tables. The male manager finally came over about 20 minutes before we left, but his approach felt rushed and insincere. The female manager, Jennifer Tiller (based on the menu), never acknowledged us at all. We weren’t just sitting around — we were actively ordering and spent over $400. You would expect some acknowledgment at that price point. Instead, it felt like we were being avoided.
The food and setting were solid, but the management’s lack of hospitality and slow service took away from the overall experience
