My wife ordered breakfast on our app for us and the kids, I arrive at McDonald’s at 10am and I stand by the front counter waiting for her food. They asked me multiple times why I’m there. So I continuously keep saying “I’m here to pick up an order for my wife it will be under Melissa”, within the next 15 mins, 4 customers have already came up to complain about their food stating its wrong or that they received someone elses food. So i called my wife and asked her to send me the scrren shot of everything so i can check the bag before i leave since so many ppl keep having order issues. At 10:25 the manager comes up and asks me for the 3rd time what it was there again for, so I repeated myself and she replies with “is the phone that you’re holding the phone that she ordered off of?” I replied with no that’s why I said that my wife put in the order and I’m just here to pick it up for her. She tells me that if I don’t have the phone she ordered with, the order will not come through and I would have to reorder and repay for everything. I asked how does that even make sense and she says that McDonald’s has some sort of tracking that allows them to track your phone to see where you are and when you arrive to the store and then allows the systems to input your order so that way they can make it. obviously the first thing I reply back is “why is McDonald’s tracking my phone?” She says “let me see what I can do” , so she walks over to the cash register by now its 10:31 and she tells me “well since it’s already past 10:30 I can no longer order you breakfast so what would you like for lunch?” Needless to say the things that was going through my mind at that point wasn’t very pretty so I told her to cancel the order and I will go somewhere else and she says “the order is canceled that’s why I just asked you what you want it for lunch”,
wow?? I understand that we shouldn’t have high expectations nowadays to go to McDonald’s but this one takes the cake for sure whatever happened to the McDonald’s we used to have in the 90s where going to McDonald’s was more exciting than going to Six Flags
This location had me waiting in a drive thru for over 15 minutes during a non-rush hour (the same 3-4 cars were just sitting in front of me)
They then proceeded to miss an item in our order. To top it off, my family was sick the next morning.
Never go to this McDonald’s. The newer one by the ice rink and QT is much better.
On top of the poor attitude, they can never seem to get an order correct. Nearly every visit results in missing items, the wrong food being bagged, or ingredients left off for no reason. Even when I make no adjustments to avoid confusion, the order still comes out incorrect. It’s incredibly frustrating to spend money and time only to receive food that is wrong, incomplete, or prepared without care.
The experience is made worse by long, unnecessary wait times even when the lobby or drive-thru isn’t busy. It almost feels like there is no urgency, no quality control, and no customer focus whatsoever. For a brand as large and well-known as McDonald’s, it is disappointing and honestly surprising to see service decline to this level. Customers deserve better, and this location urgently needs improvement in accuracy, professionalism, and overall customer service.
Went back and pulled up to a long line. Hit to the speaker and told the lady what I was missing and she said sorry about that and I will put the order in and zero it out so they have it ready. I get to the first window and it was a young man that was super nice but I guess did not know how to zero it out. He went and got the manager to help him, she came up to the window with major attitude and asked me what I needed and to repeat what I told him. I explained what the lady taking my order had said as far as zeroing them out, she cut me off immediately and told me in a very hostile manner to just pull forward. I told her there was no reason to be so rude abd asked if she was a manager? She completely ignored me . I pulled to the second window and was greeted by another nice lady and she asked what my order was again. She went to get it and when she came back I asked her what that lady’s name was that just came to the first window to help that boy and she says her name was “Kat”.
Kat has no business dealing with customers, it was pretty bad. I actually felt terrible for the other people working there with that lady. Everyone else was extremely nice and looked like they were in shock.
I never write reviews but this lady’s behavior is going to drive away a lot of customers and employees if nothing is done.
To get treated that way because items were missing in order is mind blowing to me and not once did she apologize, the other employees did.
As a business owner I would want to know if I had someone like this running my store or even working there. Extremely rude with no customer service skills! By the time I got back home it had been an hour long ordeal and the food was cold
