Congratulations! To this McDonald’s. After having traveled the world and eaten McDonald’s sandwiches everywhere from Delhi, India to Hong Kong, Seoul Korea, and countless McDonald’s in Europe, South America and the US I can confirm that this McDonald’s in Decatur, Alabama to be the absolute WORST in terms of service, quality and cleanliness. The soft drinks were actually dispensed using HOT water, no bubbles and very little syrup. The ice machine didn’t work. At the counter the manager informed me that the machine was acting up again. I had to ask them to pour my wife and I drinks from the service counter. They literally took 10 minutes to do this even though there were only two customers in the store. The drive through was busy, which, given the poor quality is inexplicable. My meal (a Quarter Pounder Delux) although well constructed, was cold. The French Fries, similarly cold. My wife’s chicken wraps? Also cold and therefore tasteless. I only ordered the quarter pounder as the restaurant was sold out of Big Macs! How on earth can a McDonald’s be sold out of big Mac’s?! The service was sullen and rude. Bravo McDonald’s! Special recognition for being the worst in the world!!

Finally have the shake machine working…. But they can’t seem to give you what you paid for. Ordered a large fry and it was less than a medium. Also ordered nuggets that are horrible. Not impressed at all with this McDonald’s!!!

McD is one of my favorite places to stop when traveling. One of my “go to” meals is the 2 cheeseburger meal. It’s easy to eat in the car. I also enjoy the Quarter Pounder meal. If I have time to eat in, then I might change it up for a Big Mac. Their breakfast menu is great and of course desserts have to be mentioned, apple pies, ice cream cones, milkshakes and caramel sundaes. Lastly when there’s a chill in the air, it’s time for some of their hot chocolate. It’s delicious.

I just went through this drive thru and got part way into my burger before before realizing it was still raw inside. When I called the restaurant they said “these things happen.” I don’t recommend this location unless you want to play food poisoning roulette.

I pulled up to drive through ordering station to get 2 Large fries after waiting for 3 minutes someone finally asked to take my order. I was asked to repeat it several times when I pulled to the pay window I was not greeted I paid and when I arrived at the 2nd window i received 1 large have filled box of fries. I was in a hurry so at this point I’m not going back… ever.

Customer service was ok. One lady was very nice. The seating area was disgusting. We were there for breakfast and ALL of the booths had French fries (not sold in the mornings, so how long were those there???) in the corners of the booths and under the booths. It looked like someone had wiped off the tables but took no care in cleaning the seats OR FLOORS. Which made me question the cleanliness elsewhere in the store. Just visiting here but definitely won’t be going back there. Clean up your act, guys.
