Service was a bit behind but that was because there was only one waiter there. She was very nice and the food was great. Not a big place, just tucked behind smoothie king in parkville. Quesadilla with the birra meat was delicious. Birra burrito was good as well, good size. Margaritas were okay. Strawberry was good. The pineapple margarita they ran out of pineapple juice for so subbed it for mango which wasn’t too bad at all. I’ll for sure go back to try more items on their menu.

First time here and our opinion was the same the service was adequate but hurried. The atmosphere was pretty good they were fairly busy. The food was bland and just average at best. I can’t say I would recommend this place to a Mexican food lover or that we would go back.

I’ve been in a few times for Happy Hour. I always get the nachos, and this time I tried the birria style. Big platter, great price! I don’t drink much but have tried their frozen strawberry margarita, since they’re only $5, and really enjoyed it with a salted rim. Friendly staff.

The staff made us feel very welcome on our first visit and remained attentive. Chips and salsa were offered, but disappointed that an extra $5 fee was charged for them. Our food was good and plentiful. I had the chicken mole, and hubby had a “build your own platter” with pork tamales and hard shell taco, including rice & beans. Will try to return next during a Mon-Fri happy hour.

Went here on a Sunday for lunch. There were a lot of tables available and I got seated immediately. Ordered the Quesabirria with corn tortilla. The tortilla had a slight crunch and the beef was soft and tender which complemented well especially with the consomé. I have tried better ones in other places but I would say the dish itself was not bad. The service was great – the server was very friendly and attentive.

Came here on a whim because we didn’t realize Bonefish wasn’t open for lunch. My husband and I thought the food was decent. Not the best, but not bad either! My husband ordered tacos, and I ordered the taquitos lunch special. I’m writing this review a few weeks later and don’t remember anything bad about the place, but I also don’t remember anything so spectacular that we can’t wait to go back. Definitely a good Mexican lunch option for the 64th street area, but I wouldn’t find myself going there for date night, etc.

The food was fine. I had the chipotle chicken enchiladas and put their spicy salsa on top because I liked Mexican food spicy. The chipotle sauce was good, but not spicy at all. My refried beans were a little watery and the rice didn’t have much flavor. The staff were absolutely excellent.

This is our go to Mexican restaurant. The salsa is my absolute favorite in the entire northland. My family always orders the azteca cheese dip too. I’ve tried about everything on the menu and my favorites are the ceviche, tacos & soup, and fish tacos. They have a good kids menu and the French fries are the best. Our kids actually request to come eat here often. The staff is always friendly and great!
