Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

Staff was was amazing and friendly. We waited on fresh jalapeno biscuits, which was so good I had to go back in and get more. Bathrooms was nice and clean. OMG it was my 1st time eating biscuits and gravy on jalapeno biscuit 10/10.

I tried Whataburger’s spicy chicken burger and was pleasantly surprised by its flavor and satisfying heat. The chicken was juicy and well seasoned, definitely the highlight of my meal. Unfortunately, the fries missed the mark—they lacked enough salt and seasoning, leaving them bland. Overall, the burger made it worth the visit, but I wish the sides were as good.

When I say I love coming here especially on my break. The customer service is A1 and the food is always fresh on morning shift/noontime. Everybody is super friendly and you can tell they have great leaders amongst them. I highly recommend this store and be prepared to laugh if you plan on dining in.

Whataburger never disappoints. The food is always fresh, flavorful, and made just the way I like it, but what really stands out is the kindness of the staff. You can tell they care about their customers and take pride in what they do. It’s more than a meal-it’s comfort, consistency, and great service every time.

Placed my order through DoorDash, order arrived my onion rings were so burnt and hard. The cheese was not melted on either patty. I called and asked for a manager and got Hailey or Hannah who was not empathetic at all about the situation. She was only interested in trying to over talk me. I hope corporate is paying attention to these reviews. Their attitudes suck at this location.

Traffic hint: If you are headed eastbound on 302(Goodman Road), it can be challenging/dangerous to turn in across westbound traffic. Just go left at the light just at Airways Blvd, and then turn right to go to the theater, then just come in from behind.

Really bad food quality. Ordered the double meat meal with onion rings and a strawberry shake. The young lady seemed to have a hard time with putting the order in correctly. Ended up giving us fries and onion rings. Fried were cold and stale, onion rigs were old and tasted more like the grease. Burger did not taste good at all either. I blame the location workers, not Whataburger itself, as i have a better experience on my side of town

I used to visit this location once a week however that ends today. I went in to order my usual which is a whatawing combo sweet and spicy with a sweet and spicy sauce. It is $13.52 and today they wanted to charge me for an extra sauce. This happened last week and somebody knowledgeable said the combo came with a free sauce and the new cashier just charged me for an extra sauce. I tried to explain this to the lady that came up to the cashier to help However she wanted to argue and didn’t want to hear anything and made me feel like the bad guy which I was not. I will not be returning to this location and I would recommend to anyone to not waste your time or money here. If they can’t do better they should close this location.

We were waiting for the Texas giant to open Memphis from long time. We heard they are opening soon, and we made the plan earliest as we could make. The banana pudding shake was good. We ordered spicy chicken burger and the taste was good, it was just lacking in more of veggies. I especially liked their wide range of sauce and dip collection. The ambiance was lively and the crowd was awesome.
