Great experience at Takara. Delicious food, fresh ingredients, and large portions. We didn’t have any sushi, but it did look appealing! Our chef was super friendly, funny, and an amazing cook. Also, the customer service and a comfortable atmosphere made it an easy place to enjoy a relaxed meal. Would definitely return.

I love this place! Even just sitting at the bar is a treat (I cannot remember the bartenders name but he is FANTASTIC! If it’s not super busy, get a martini). The sushi is out of this world (try the hand rolls… WOW!!!) and the hibachi is such a fun (and delicious) experience!

Went there the other night with a couple of friends and were told to wait for 30 minutes, but it ended up being faster than they thought which was nice.
Our server was new (he said he is also a sushi chef there), but he did a wonderful job!
They got one of my rolls wrong (it was not a big deal for me), and they addressed the mistake right away by bringing me the right one after that.
We will definitely be back!

We came here for our 5 year anniversary and as first timers. The place looked beautiful and thankfully there was no wait time.
We got our drinks fast, and then our soup & salad came out quickly. The soup and salad were great!
We got crab rangoons as an appetizer. Those were delicious! Our food came out shortly after. The food looked amazing. I got a chicken hibachi dinner plate and my partner got a Chicken & Shrimp hibachi dinner plate.
However, I was disappointed in the taste of our entrees. The chicken had absolutely no taste at all, the noodles were okay, my partner liked the fried vegetables since I don’t eat them and the rice was tasteless as well. My partner liked the white sauce so he poured that and the soy sauce to give it some flavor and liked it. I added some soy sauces but it didn’t help too much.
Overall, atmosphere was wonderful. Service was good but taste did not meet my expectations. We may come back in the future to try again but not anytime soon unfortunately.

Took my girlfriend here for our 3 year anniversary. We lucked out and got our own hibachi table to just ourselves. Our sever was Mara I’m probably wrong about the name black hair with glasses she was very nice and attentive, even surprised us with an anniversary desert which was real good. The chef was THE TRUTH! I’ve never had such an interactive experience at a hibachi setting(plus who doesn’t like free sake). I’m a picky person but i say i fully recommend this spot!

Sushi was very well made – menu is slightly confusing if you do not know what your ordering. They had a basic sushi roll you can pick protein + $1 add avocado etc… for a total of $8 and was very good actually. Baby octopus salad with avocado was very nice as well. Overall – a dad daughter date night turned out nice + Did a wife date night another time before and she was very happy with the sushi as well.
