Really had an outstanding service here. Anne was our incredible waitress. She had an energy about her that is indescribable. Her bright, happy, playful demeanor was refreshing and welcomed. My husband and I enjoyed every second she spent at our table. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was elegant, but the service was the best part! I will definitely go back! We had beautiful seating in an inner courtyard area. Very peaceful and not as noisy at the inside seating and outdoor seating that wraps around the front of the restaurant. Greenery, a water fountain, and just the perfect amount of sunlight so that it was shady but still perfectly sunny for an afternoon lunch.
We did reserve the table online about 2 hours ahead of time.

My wife and I had a great double date here! Our server (Anne, I believe) was amazing! She was very enthusiastic, energetic, knowledgeable of the menu and seemed happy to be there. Anne made jokes with our table, being very playful and welcoming with us. We chose the Dinner for Two from the menu and were very pleased. Everything was delicious, from the onion soup, to the perfectly cooked ribeye and the chocolate soufflé. It was our first time here and it will not be our last!

Long time we had not been at the “Zing”… Food is as good as ever: simple French bistro food: steak Tartare, Moules Marinières, cote de boeuf etc. Wine selection is good if pricey! Delightful French restaurant. Foie Gras was ‘country style’ chunky with the accompaniments lifting its flavour. Assortment of 4 different oysters on the tasting plates gave us a chance to try a variety of flavours. Forgot to take a photo of the dish of the day though…. A delicious sandwich filled with crispy skin confit duck with pate and a soft brioche bun…. Oh sooo good.

There is a friendly staff here from the host to the servers. The food is really good – as expected from a high end eatery. The espresso martinis are things legends are made of!
There is a small complaint & should not be used against the restaurant other than them over serving a customer. There was a very intoxicated male who kept telling his adult sister how ugly she was, her boyfriend finding that entertaining as well as intoxicated patron insulting the bus staff in Spanish. The staff was aware & should have expelled this patron immediately.
All in all, I would go back here & do recommend this restaurant. Hopefully this is a 1 off situation & would have rated the atmosphere higher had it not been for this incident.

What can I tell you about this French restaurant in the famed Scottsdale Kierland Commons? On a blistering hot day I walked into the restaurant for lunch with a half full Diet Coke can in my hand. Instead of telling me “no outside food or drink allowed” the host saw my Diet Coke, acknowledged it, and brought me a glass with ice for it and then lots of Diet Coke refills, all at no charge. What else do I need to become a lifetime customer? Who does this? I can’t tell you how much this moved me. The food was off the charts good, the next best thing to being in Paris. Salad lettuce farm fresh, salmon refreshing, steak cooked to perfection, crispy seasoned fries with no oily aftertaste. 10/10.
I give every part of this meal five stars, but the service is what won me over. Definitely give them a try if it’s been a while because they are tried and true, a local gem.

So first off french cuisine is something I haven’t tried before so take that into account. The atmosphere was nice dim lights. Nice Eiffel tower model lit up in the dining room. Noise was about medium in the dining room. Would be a great place for a date night. The service was impeccable no issues there. I got the steak frittes which I found to be pretty good not amazing not bad just really good. The fries were crispy and tasted great. I also had the crab crepes which were very good as an appetizer. Overall a great place that I would come back to again for a date night loved the atmosphere and the service. 4.5/5
