Delicious Venezuelan food with great flavors and perfect portions. The arepa with sweet plantain, cheese and shredded beef was amazing — fresh, hearty, and bold. Everything tasted great and the sauces added a nice touch.
Would definitely come back to try more!

A couple of months ago we moved to Austin from San Antonio and as foodies, we have been trying a lot of different restaurants to find a really good place with amazing food. After being to so many places, this has been our absolute favorite place we’ve visited.
The flavors of the dishes are truly heavenly. You can tell whoever cooks adds the flavor of love to their dishes. We typically cannot eat too much in general because we get full easily but we finished every single bite of the dishes. The flavors dance in your mouth and every bite makes you smile. We ordered fresh juices as well, which were absolutely perfect. Everything is super clean, the ambiance is beautiful and the vibes are so nice. Service was great as well! We cannot wait to go back!

The Arepa Pabellón and plantains were mind blowingly delicious. Especially the house sauce that came with it. Never had Venezuelan food before and now Aleida’s set the standard super high. Definitely coming back next time I’m in Austin, highly reccomend!

I absolutely love this place. Each time I’ve been I was served by the owner and he was an absolute delight. He was so kind! He gave my 10 month old son fried plantain and just doted on him. Besides the owner being so sweet, the food here is amazing. The queso is the best I’ve ever had. The patacon is my favorite entrée and the arepas are huge! I’ve been three times and each time I’ve found something new to try and love. The menu is expansive! There’s still food I want to try there!
To top it all off, the interior decoration is very colorful and modern! In case you can’t tell, Aleidas is one of my favorite restaurants.

Aleidas has great food, including a very flavorful variety of sauces. The owner and staff are really friendly and the owner is great about sharing knowledge his knowledge of the food. Their frozen Margaritas are A+. The restaurant space is bright, colorful, clean and relaxed. Easy to find and lots of parking available.

amazing atmosphere. They did take a while to attend us but apologized and treated us good. Good big portions and worth every penny. Loved eating at this place will definitely come again.

If you want authentic Venezuelan/Latin food, this is it. The restaurant and terrace are super cute, great for brunch, a date, or just a great meal!
Portions are huge, I always take half home. And don’t miss the flan (quesillo) if they have it!

Went to this restaurant over the summer when I was in the area, and have been coming ever since! My partner never repeats restaurants on principle, but this is one place we keep coming back to. It’s that good! High quality ingredients, good quantities, delicious salsas, and warm, friendly, genuine service. Thank you 🙂

The staff was friendly and helpful. The food was amazing! It is not a fancy place so not somewhere I would go for a romantic date night, but if you want impressive food that will broaden your horizons (such great Colombian/Venezuelan food!), this was a huge hit.
