Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

First thing I want to say. Please please PLEASE do NOT take the

This is my go-to Whataburger. There is one woman that works here that I have trouble with. She is a bit snarky and gets my order wrong on a regular basis. Other than that, the staff here work hard and are generally kind.

Que was so professional and courteous. He was knowledgeable and helped answer all of my questions and had our food out in 1 minute. Restaurant is always clean and restrooms sanitized. Best location!!!! Best staff!!! Best food!!!

I was very surprised by how good it was for fast food. I remember having food here when I was younger and not liking it. It’s hard to find a fast food place where you can get a grilled chicken sandwich nowadays. The sauce was good.

Went inside since it’s fast than the drive thru when they’re busy. The people were nice and working quickly, my food came out fast and was delicious as always! I would 100% recommend the Honey BBQ chicken strip sandwich with a little extra sauce.

There was only one car in the drive thru but I was told to go to the second lane. Someone came and took my cash, and after 3 other cars came and went, in the other lane, someone brought my food, and when I asked where was my change, she seemed not even to know what that meant. She did not know who came and got my payment and genuinely seemed confused that I would have expected my change!

When I ordered of what I wanted in the biscuit, this one lady just gave me “just a biscuit” with nothing on it. It’s was bad service there and one of the workers was rude about it. Never coming back to this location as the workers in there are messy.

I’ve been thinking a lot as of recent, about a theme for some of place that attract me to go into to review. Here’s the theme for this company. For Whataburger each and every location has old Glory flying high and on each location it states family owned since 1950. This is one of few companies that American owned and a American operated. You see I believe in America and I believe in the made in America emblem. Now does mean that I show favoritism, no what it does means is I give each and every company the same chances as do everyone. So let’s talk about why I have decided to review another whataburger . I really did not plan it. This one has drawn me because of what I saw and heard and witnessed. There are a group of men tonight that have shown me more customer service than most of the business . Those where most of the employees have been for years. Shawn was.the first employee I came in contact with his menu knowledge was absolutely shocking. Then Kyle here is a story of young who turned 28 yrs.old last Wednesday and by the way who has only been working here for for about a week. He does a great job along with the other tem members. Then you guys would not believe this but I have found a man who started this as his 1 st job and really the only job he has ever had. This gentleman leads as a 3 Rd shift mgr. By example.
You my followers know that lead by example will win my attention every time. Well his name is Jonathan. I know your saying Tracy it’s easy on this shift BC they are not busy. Excuse me these guys have been busting there behind. So yes Jonathan is a great manager.The restaurant is very clean. The attitude of all employees are just like Jonathan’s to make each and every guest “TO FEEL THAT THEY ARE AT HOME BY NOT HAVING TO GET UP.FOR ANYTHING”. Thank you guys your team can’t be beat. To my followers if you guys every come to Lafayette LA you must come here to visit.

Absolutely love this place!! The workers are always so nice. They have the best burgers ever here. Lately when we go, it smells like raw sewage when we dine in. You can smell it thru the whole place.
