Funky Trickeria is hands down one of our favorite local spots in Norton! The food is consistently fresh, flavorful, and creative — you can tell they care about what they’re serving. The tacos are always packed with flavor, the portions are generous, and the vibe is just fun and welcoming.

We bring our out-of-state visitors here whenever they’re in town because it’s such a unique place and always impresses. Everyone we’ve taken has loved it.

It’s a great example of why supporting local matters. Highly recommend!

Waiting over an hour for food just to get cold mush is the worst feeling ever. We spent a lot of money on their loaded nachos and they showed up totally ruined. There was no crunch left at all and the cheese felt like a hard block of plastic. It looked like someone just threw it in a box and kicked it all the way to my house. i am still mad about how bad it looked and tasted. Then there is the big problem with their special chorizo balls. People said i had to try them but the ones we got were burned black on the outside. I cut one open and the middle was totally pink and raw which is super dangerous. You can not serve uncooked meat to people no matter how busy you get. The whole meal went right into the trash and we had to buy pizza instead. I am telling everyone I know to stay away from this brand. Their quality control does not exist and it is a waste of time.

Absolutely awesome! This is my 2nd time here (1st time bringing my wife) and again the staff was very pleasant, and the food was incredible. I’ve never had this combination of flavors hit my palette before. The Chorizo Funky Balls were crispy on the outside and burst with flavor inside. Allie’s suggestion to dip them in the mango sauce was spot on. The Korean BBQ steak and Korean BBQ Pork Belly tacos were both incredible. The warm meat was perfectly moist without tasting over-basted/over-sauced, and the fresh toppings provided a delightful contrast in texture and temperature. The new Huli Huli taco was chicken based and had mango pico and pineapple. It was also amazing. My wife also got that as well as a fish taco. She also through they were some of the best tacos she’s ever had! This place is a MUST visit if you’re near Norton.

I used to think this was a cool spot to get a quick lunch but I am never spending a single dime here again. The portions have gotten so small lately that you need to buy three meals just to feel full. It is just really bad overpriced food and it feels like they are robbing you blind. I tried to talk to the manager about how cold my meal was and he totally blew me off. He was incredibly disrespectful and rolled his eyes at me while I was talking. You can tell they just care about taking your cash and not about making good meals.

The absolute breaking point for me was seeing how they treated an older man in a wheelchair yesterday. The old guy had an army hat on and the owner started making jokes about him to the other workers. It is disgusting because the guy running the place is a hypocrite of an owner who pretends to be nice on the internet. I was so mad I threw my food in the trash and left right then and there. Nobody should ever support a restaurant that is so mean to people who defended our freedom.

We decided to try this place out for my wives birthday dinner and it was a huge mistake. The music was playing way too loud and the floors were sticky everywhere you walked. We waited forever just to get our order taken by a grumpy kid. When the plates finally came out it was just really bad overpriced food.

My uncle is in the army and he asked if they do any discounts for his service. The boss came over and acted like a cold of an owner right in front of our whole family. He made a huge scene and it was very disrespectful

It was so embarrassing and disrespectful that we just packed up our stuff and walked right out the door. You really should not treat paying customers like trash especially people who serve our country. I have never seen a business run by someone with such a bad attitude. Save your money and go to a place that actually cares about the community. This spot is a total scam and the tacos are not even good anyway.

Saw a review on TikTok so we gave it a try. We had the Funky Balls and salsa / chips. For tacos we had the Tequila lime chicken, Thai chicken, and Korean BBQ steak. Tons of flavor. The eatery is a bit small but adequate. They do have a large outdoor patio which looks nice during the summer months. If you’re around Norton, give them a try.

Here again for taco Tuesday. Tacos are a dollar off. My wife opted for the funky burrito bowl, honey jalapeño chicken. I started with the chorizo Funky balls and went for my favorites, the Thai chicken and the Korean BBQ pork belly. The balls are an excellent starter, tasty and cheezy. The food, once again, excellent. Counter staff, friendly and helpful.

A small taco joint is located in Norton Plaza. They have about 6 tables inside and also a small patio for outside seating. I was about to give a lower rating because the kitchen staff was slow today, and it took a half hour to get our tacos. Once I bit into my taco, that all changed. I guess good things are worth the wait. Don’t expect Taco Bell. These are West Coast style tacos with a lot of variety, meats, and toppings. Also, the price of a taco ranges from $5.00 to $6.50, but you get what you pay for, made to order with fresh ingredients. I had the Thai chicken and the Korean pork belly tacos. Asian fusion. The pork belly is my favorite, delicious. My wife had the Thai chicken as well, along with honey jalapeño grilled shrimp. They were tasty as well.

Being a vegetarian means trusting a kitchen but they failed at the basics. I took a bite of my cauliflower taco and found real meat hidden inside the sauce. It is so careless to make food this way and it ruins all trust in them. I felt sick for the rest of the night just thinking about it. Nobody should have to deal with that kind of mistake when eating out Never giving them my money again.
