Amazing experience at this restaurant! The food was absolutely delicious, full of authentic flavors, and served fresh. Every dish was well-prepared and tasted incredible.
What truly made the experience special was the staff (Manbeer and Anureet) . The workers were extremely polite, friendly, and attentive. They made sure we were comfortable and checked on us regularly with a smile. Their service was fast, professional, and welcoming.

The service from Noor and Muskan was amazing — super friendly and made us feel so welcome. The food was absolutely delicious! I’m obsessed with their tawa paratha with gur wali chai — such a perfect, comforting combo
I’ve also tried their Shahi Paneer and Chilli Paneer, both were rich, flavorful, and perfectly cooked.
And their Special Chocolate Cookies were the best ending — soft, fresh, and full of chocolatey goodness
Definitely one of my favorite Indian spots now. Can’t wait to go back!

It’s been around for years, and the interior shows. While not run down or anything, it could use a face lift to keep up with the rest of the competition, Indian restaurants getting more upscale.
Butter chicken is on spot, and friendly host always upon entering.
Spacious restaurant, lots of parking in this busy plaza. And area in general too, almost like the downtown of Newton area in Surrey.
Booth seating in middle mostly, and like the quieter corner seating area in the right side upon entering.

We got recommendation from our cousin to visit this place and to try their Saag and Makki di Roti. We came from Calgary. It is a must visit place to dine in. I have never had such a delicious Saag and mouth melting makki di roti. All thanks to Maninder Jeet ji who specially came to visit after and made us taste yummy jalebi’s (again a must try). The restaurant was a very pleasant surprise for the family. We didn’t expect such good food in this complex.
The restaurant makes a good first impression when it comes to appeal with very attractive decor, TV’s and a bar. However on closer inspection, we can see the age with smelly toilets and boxes strewn about.
Thankfully the service and food more than make up for the drawbacks. An excellent selection of tandoori breads, tasty and light veg as well as non-veg curries and snacks delight the senses and satisfy hunger pangs after shopping at Fruiticana.
Would definitely come again however, I sincerely hope they can do something about their toilets at least.

I had a very disappointing experience. I called to place an order, but instead of taking it, they put my number on hold and never came back to assist me. This is unprofessional and shows a lack of respect for customers’ time. If a restaurant cannot handle calls properly, it makes me question how they handle their overall service. I hope they improve their customer service going forward.

We’re regulars at this restaurant which says a lot. The food is the best Indian fare in the lower mainland at least. The service and staff are terrific. A family member from Kelowna requests Planet India whoever they’re visiting. Similarly, our Vancouver Island family will make a point of having Planet India whenever in town. It’s very good food and very kind staff.
