Our first time here in a Friday eve and we liked it a lot. Hubi tried the Colorado plate & I had the combination plate both were good. I didn’t care for the brisket taco. The meat was too salty snd tough but loved my chicken enchiladas and cheese enchilada. Loved the Reese hot chips with the red salsa. We also ordered the corn elotes as an accompaniment to our dinner and it was made fresh and so creamy with a touch of heat from the Jalopenos & wow it was so so tasty. It was decorated for the holidays and the fountains our in front were colorful and entertaining. It got a bit loud and noisy and our waiter was so overwhelmed he didn’t check on us as much bit we want to go back soon. Loved the food.

We had a great brunch experience. Awesome service, and we enjoyed all of our Entrees – breakfast sandwich, breakfast tacos and chilaquilles. They were amoungst very few places that were open at 10, glad we stumbled upon it!

Pretty decent Mexican restaurant in Legacy West. I was very fond of their dips for their complimentary tortilla chip, especially the spicy one, while we were waiting for the somewhat slow service. The dips also complimented the tacos well.

As for the tacos, they were decent but not remarkable. There’s better family owned Mexican restaurants that are also more affordable. This restaurant and it’s surrounding area are very nice though. The churros were nice and have a caramel filling.

As for the service it seemed a little sloppy. No problem with the wait staff themselves but things seemed generally disorganized. Our server was changed in the middle and things were quite slow to come out. It is a huge restaurant in a popular area though, so I guess that’s to be expected.

Hostesses was attentive. Eduardo was our server. He provided exceptional service, steakhouse service, wow! Food was delicious and the restaurant is pretty and elegant.
Good ambiance. Great variety of meals, and don’t forget the trio of dippings to enjoy with chips. Prices are decent and not overpriced.

Visited Mesero at Legacy West on Valentine’s Day. We had a table pre-booked and were seated within 5–10 minutes of arrival, which was smooth considering how crowded it was. The dine-in space was well-decorated and had a lively vibe.
One of the main highlights of this location is the beautiful view of the water fountain just outside the restaurant — you can enjoy your meal with a view, which really adds to the experience.
We tried the chicken and shrimp tacos — the food was okay, nothing extraordinary. Parking was a bit of a challenge as the area is quite busy.

Overall, a decent experience. I’ve added some pictures from our visit as well!

A fantastic restaurant for dinner date or a casual dining dining in the middle of Legacy West.

Pleasing ambience, awesome service and great food makes it a wonderful dining experience.

Though they only have a few vegetarian and vegan options, what they have satisfied our evening.

Friendly reception and excellent service made it a great night for us.

The seating towards the curb was noisy and they were glad to relocate us to the interior section, which had brought a good mood for the evening.

However the curb had great views of dancing fountain lights with some fun filled music, if you don’t mind the noise levels.

Great place for group dinners. Staff is friendly. They may not always come to you, but if you ask, they will oblige. More lie European style. Portions are perfect, especially after you’ve gorged on chips, queso, guacamole, and salsa!

The food was yummy – 5 stars!
The ambiance (especially the patio) are amazing – 5 stars!
The service was not great – 2 stars.

This was our first visit, double date night! and we were treated to a patio seat on the first amazing night of the season.
We had a reservation for four and when two of us checked in early, letting the hostess know we were happy to wait until the other two arrived, she assured us it was no big deal to seat us early.
Our waitress was not too thrilled, nor did her mood or attitude change through the evening. We were accidentally seated with no menus, so when our waitress arrived a few minutes later asking what we wanted to drink and we were not ready, stating we’d like drink menus, she huffed and walked away to get us menus. As she handed them to us, again she asked “what would you like to drink?” As kindly as we could we asked for a moment to read through the options, but could we have water. She turned and walked away. A few moments later a kind & smiling gentlemen brought us water, chips & the salsa trio. When our waitress finally returned to get our drink order we were ready!

When the rest of our party arrived, they had literally just picked up the drink menu when the waitress did the same to them.

We all did our best to be as patient and kind as we could to her, giving her the benefit of the doubt (maybe she had a bad day, her kid was sick, she got some bad news, etc). She was clearly frustrated we wouldn’t be ordering any starters and I don’t recall if she checked on us once our meals were delivered, but I’d like to say she did. Our dinner plates had been cleared for some time when we finally flagged her down to ask for dessert menus, she acted put-off and was even more frustrated (body language and a verbal “huff”) when only one of us ordered dessert. She dropped the checks at the same time the dessert was brought and when she circled around a few moments later she picked up clearly EMPTY checks (we hadn’t put our cards in yet) she made an big deal of saying “oh they’re empty” and laying them back down in the middle of the table! We all cringed for her and without waiting another moment handed her our cards. She brought them back very quickly and we never saw her again. Our waters were never filled again and our chips, which we had asked to be re-filled during dinner, had never been refilled.

We all agreed we would try Mesero again, the food and ambiance were good enough to come back, and hopefully this waitress has moved on, or her future days got better.
