Had to drop in for a late bite and, even though it was close to closing, Mia and the manager were very kind and helpful. The food was delicious (black bean burger w/brussel sprouts) and the restaurant was very clean.
After a very long and tiring day, this experience was well deserving of a 5 start review.

Only my third time patronizing this Smash Burger location in Summerville. Last week I had the Spicy Jalapeño Smash. Not as spicy as I was expecting, it was a good warm heat.
Yesterday I had the Double BBQ Bacon with tots. A good alternative burger place if your in a pinch. The wife does a build your own. Summerville location was clean, not overly busy.

Very polite cashier. In town for just the night for work…the burger..which was a double..with bacon and brisket ..you gotta double and triple down on protein ya know and the perfect accompaniment was tots and they customized the dipping sauce by giving me jalapeños to but in my ranch dressing to spice it up!! I’m a fan of smashburger!

My first time here and Smashburgers and I was pleasantly surprised. The staff was helpful and knowledgeable about the menu, (my only complaint is the menu is an eyesore and hard to read from easily). My food came up fresh and hot. The burger was delicious and filling. It was quiet and clean. I observed the staff staying busy during slow periods and even asked me if I was good. I would highly recommend this little gem. Fast friendly service and all smiles!

One of the best burgers I’ve ever had. The taste, quality, and service are consistently perfect. They recently updated the menu and, unfortunately, removed my favorite—the Colorado Smash—but even with that change, this place still offers hands down the best burgers. I’ve been coming here for over three years, and every time the experience is just as great. Nothing has changed, except for constant improvement.

Tried Smashburger recently, and it was a solid but not standout experience. The restaurant was clean, the staff was friendly, and everything moved at a steady pace, which already puts it a step above a lot of fast‑casual burger spots.
I ordered one of their classic smash burgers, and it was good — the patty had nice crisp edges and decent flavor, and the toppings were fresh. It definitely tasted better than your typical fast‑food burger, but it still didn’t have that “wow” factor I was hoping for. The fries were hot and seasoned well, just nothing particularly memorable.
Prices were fair for what you get, and the portion sizes were enough to leave me full without feeling overdone. Overall, Smashburger is a reliable choice when you want something quick and a little better than the usual burger chains, but it didn’t quite hit the level that would push it past three stars for me.

This location their food wasn’t as good as another location I’ve been to in Columbia SC. This location has their food Not only Greasy, but Swimming in Grease on your plate. My son couldn’t eat any of his shrimp he got and he wasn’t hungry anyway, so he didn’t say anything. Then another family tried to eat it and said they couldn’t eat pure Grease. My Brussel sprouts were disgusting the same issue just loaded in Grease. I would Never want to eat at this location again. If people are trained to cook the same at each location this wouldn’t be a problem.

Just started eating here, but now have been 3 times ! The burgers are cooked to order – that means they are hot when you bite into them. Thx fries are also fresh and delicious. The All-american is easy on the budget and very tasty. IMHO these even best 5Guys and much less expensive. The staff are always very nice and courteous. I wish they had wifi for those dining in. Dec. 28th – I finally tried one of their shakes – it was quite a disappointment. Also, my food wasn’t as fresh as normal. There were different staff working; the cook had to interrupt the waitress from her phone that I had walked into the restaurant. I’m hoping this was just a one-time lapse in the quality of food and service I had become used to.

Can’t lie I didn’t expect the quality burgers we got. I was overwhelmed with taste and options. This is my new burger joint. Staff was awesome and that hot sauce was excellent! Don’t forget the Brussels sprouts, they are slamming!

I’ve been here twice and first time it was good but second time ordered was bad experience. Ordered 2 Colorado burger with smash fries and truffle mayo on the side. When they brought the order out it was 2 regular burger and regular fries! So we had to wait and almost missed our movie. They have kids running the place and if you want a decent burger with great customer service go to Culver’s.
