I came in with the highest of expectations and Steak 48 far exceeded them. The restaurant is spectacular, the valet and waitstaff impeccable, and the food was truly memorable. My family and I were obsessed with the hot bread that every table starts with. I was personally impressed by the burning hot plate they give you, making our creamed spinach + artichoke and baked shells sizzle. It kept our scallops and steak hot. The cook and quality of the beef was beyond stellar. The only issue with this restaurant is there are too many great choices in the appetizers and the sides and the desserts and the drinks and the entrees … Is there a more extensive wine list in Philly?

My wife took me here for my bday. It was my 1st time. We ordered the crispy shrimp as an appetizer. She had the crab cakes while I had to 12 oz ny strip w. Creamy potatoes. It was delicious the steak came out sizzling and it was cooked to perfection… and very tender. Only issue was the Mac and cheese was nasty. I sent it back. The waiters very very attentive and polite. Since it was my bday they bought out a wonderful dessert w. A candle in it. I would definitely come back.

Amazing experience. The place is amazing. The staff are amazing. Bartenders are so attentive! The shrimp cocktail is huge! Be careful if the atomic sauce! It will knock your socks off. The person waiting on me was training someone and together, they were seamless. People are really friendly and the entire place is immaculate! Can’t wait to go back!!

Love Love Love it! The restaurant was amazing! If you’re looking for an upscale dating night this is it. Valet available, coat check offered immediately after checking in, and there was hardly a wait to be seated. The server we had was very attentive and knowledgeable when we had questions about the menu.

This Steak 48 location was very nice. The service here was top notch and the steaks were definitely delicious and well cooked and prepared. It was so much to choose from on the menu so I definitely took my time once I got to my table. The inside environment was very laid back and chill for a nice weekend evening.

Super expensive! Now that that’s out of the way lol the experience was worth it. We had a table with a view into the kitchen which was wonderful, and they put us there themselves without our asking. The servers were great, explaining the food options and making suggestions. I will admit we did feel rushed towards the end by a busboy who kept twirling an empty water bottle but not clearing anything but that was a minor blip in the evening. The food was delicious though my steak could have used more seasoning it was cooked perfectly. The cocktail shrimp was juicy and huge (maybe not worth $12 a piece though) con there were shells in the seafood pasta just a few but very noticeable in the crab. Lamb meatballs were delicious. I could forego the hanging bacon next time lol. All in all we had an excellent time!

I was invited to my boyfriend’s client dinner and of course did not pass on an opportunity to go to one of my favorite spots. The valet staff were efficient and friendly. We started off with cocktails at the bar, Melody and Kat (sorry if spelling incorrect) made our drinks as requested, and delicious. Then we all had a wonderful dining experience with our server, Jacqueline and her support staff. We could not believe it when she informed us that she had only joined the staff 4 months . She knew the menu inside and out, and shared informed opinions on our food questions. We had the opportunity to share our compliments with her manager, Will, who was grateful and appreciative of our comments. Of course, we’ll be back!

Cheers to great friends and a great dinner experience! Norell made fantastic suggestions at the bar and started us off to a great evening. We we able to snag the booth and that was a delight! I had a dinner reservation for my birthday on Saturday January 10th and upon arrival we were greeted right away. The entire staff is very friendly and our waitress Em was amazing. She took her time to go over the menu with us and provided us with detailed information. She also had some great recommendations on the food and drinks. The manager called the next day to make sure we had a great time and that was very pleasant.

We had a reservation. It did take a little while for them to acknowledge us at the hostess stand. It was a Saturday night and it was chaotic. Other than that everything was wonderful. We were celebrating an anniversary and they really made a big deal about it. We turned down desert because we were so full but they brought us a dessert on the house acknowledging the anniversary. Phenomenal service and food. We will be back.
