Solid family-style restaurant, with a huge, eclectic menu! Breakfast is served all day, and there is a full Mediterranean-style menu also available. Pretty busy at lunch time on a Saturday, but there were still a few tables available with no wait. Dining area can get a bit loud when that busy, fair warning.
Ordered a gyro wrap with mac & cheese as the side and creme brulee French toast with an a la carte side of turkey sausage and fresh-squeezed orange juice. The gyro was great; they give you a choice between “Gyro bread” and pita (went with Gyro bread, always our preference) and even let you substitute any “veggie” being served that day for fries as the side. Mac & cheese had a nice flavor, as well. The French toast was good, but not very bruleed; it was more of a custard French toast.

I can only comment on breakfast at this place, we have not been there for lunch or dinner. The breakfast is good. Huge potions, especially with the grits. I had the loaded hash browns and it had a ton of ham. Service is good, friendly atmosphere, it’s a local place that has been around for quite awhile.

Visited for lunch this week and had a great experience. This is a great little restaurant which has been in business a long time. We had the fried chicken, baked spaghetti, and veggies and everything was good. Service was really good and the place g

We like this place off Columbian road in veststavia hills. The food is great and the help is attentive and nice. Parking can be a challenge at times. We have eaten here for years when we visit family in Birmingham area.

Food was amazing. Creme Brulee French toast was wonderful – no syrup needed! Staff was very friendly! Very convenient access off of I-65. Is definitely our top spot to stop at when traveling to Birmingham!! Don’t miss this one!

Got the kebabs for two with lamb soup, grilled veggies, rice, onion rings (not shown), and a lamb quesadilla. The quesadilla was my favorite, but everything else was still pretty good, other than the chicken was a little dry.

Kibbah and Falafel were delicious! Also got lamb shawarma, and kids burger was the best our son has had in a while! Other son got the club sandwich. Plenty of food at a great price. Also great, friendly service.

1st time visit and the service was great! My waitress was very sweet and attentive. I ordered coffee (great brew) and a mouthwatering western omelet. It was perfect! My only ‘complaint’ is that the salsa came in packets…if it had been served in a small dish, it would have been more appealing. Either way, I would recommend this restaurant and I will be back!

This was my first visit to Ranch House. It was a Sunday morning and the place was nearly full leading me to believe it is a very popular eatery. I was there for breakfast. I thought the meal was good, not exceptional, but good. The wait staff was very attentive and helpful without being overbearing. Price was very affordable.

I visited Ranch House again today. Actually this was the second time I’ve visited recently. I won’t deny the food was mostly good but the service has been awful the last two times I’ve visited. My food was delivered to my table after a 30 minute or more wait and not everything was delivered at the same time. The toast I ordered was brought to the table after I was almost finished with my meal and then it was cold and dry. I will probably try to avoid this restaurant in the future.
