5/5 Visit!! The workers here were very warm and friendly, the food was AMAZING!! My family and I devoured the entire pizza we ordered, it was the good. As someone who’s visited Italy, I can say this pizza is the closest to authenticity it comes. The ingredients were definitely fresh as you can tell from the taste and the atmosphere was full of life and very upbeat. Will come again!

This was my fist time having pizza in NYC. This was legit some of the best pizza I’ve ever had. The hype about NY style pizza is real. At least it is here. It was cold when I was there so the inside was full. I got the last table. I didnt count but I’m betting there’s about 8 tables so don’t count on eating inside. If the weather is nice they also had some outside seating. I ranked thw atmosphere high only because it was exactly how I imagined the City to be. If your idea of good atmosphere is something fancy then ignore my 5 stars on that aspect. Fancy this place isn’t.

Roma Pizza – A Classic New York Slice Stop

During our trip to New York City, my son and I stopped at Roma Pizza on 6th Avenue between 36th and 37th Street. It was right off a busy street, and it had that familiar New York pizza shop feel that immediately draws you in. We decided to order two pepperoni slices and one Margherita slice to try something classic and something a bit different.

The pepperoni slices were good, with a thin crust that had a nice crisp edge and just enough cheese and sauce to keep every bite balanced. They were not the best I have ever had, but they were tasty and satisfying. The Margherita slice had more flavor and stood out the most. The fresh basil, tomato sauce, and mozzarella came together perfectly, giving it a fresh and light taste that we both enjoyed.

At Roma Pizza, the pies are made in advance and then reheated in the oven when you order. Even with the reheating process, the slices still came out hot and full of flavor. It was quick, convenient, and great for a stop during a busy day in the city.

The staff was friendly and the service was fast, which made the experience even better. The restaurant itself had a casual and relaxed atmosphere, making it easy to sit down, eat, and enjoy without any rush. The prices were also very reasonable, which is a big plus for being in Midtown Manhattan.

Overall, Roma Pizza delivered exactly what you want from a New York slice. It may not be the most amazing pizza in the city, but it was a solid experience with good food and great service. I would definitely return when I visit New York again.

I happened upon this place. I actually was looking for another pizza place but the line for that other place seemed to continue for eternity. The pizza is really good here, the vibe is chill and the cashier was really nice and aware of everything that was going. I say give them a try you won’t regret it.

Look I don’t live in NYC but I do travel there often. I’ve tried many pizzas from Central Park and south, haven’t gone north yet. This pizza by far is the best I’ve had and the buffalo chicken is going to make me go back to NYC just for the pizza and I’m not THAT close.

Also the guys in there are so nice. Even with the rush they aren’t going to give you a hard time even though most understand why they rush. These guys get what you need and with a smile and they do it in the speed they need to.

Best experience I’ve had at any pizza shop!

Photo: these are the notes I left for my family when I brought it home.

October 19/2025 – It’s Pasta Day’s Sunday for me in NYC!

Ok. Before giving my review, I have a few questions for you !
1- Have you ever been in Italy ?
2- Do you know what is a good pasta about?
3- How full you like to be after eating ?
Reason why I asked you these three questions in to share my experience with this restaurante that reminded me all my trips to that great country .
Pasta is very Italian – Al dente! I had a linguini pasta with chicken parmigiana. Very, but very Italian . And what it means ? Pasta is pasta ! In the right consistency and visually attractive. Tomato sauce is tomato sauce – it tastes tomatoes and please don’t expect more than that – like in Rome, fresh tomatoes are the stars of a great pasta !! ! Portion is generous , as in Italy , and I could not be happier with all these details coming together in the same day at the same place . Everything is juicy , succulent, red and hot as in Rome, trust me . The manager/owner or whoever is that guy in the cashier is very charismatic , with a beautify accent and a tanned skin , reminding us what is the Mediterranean landscape like . A great experience for those who like a good food, with the simplicity and generosity only a few MAMAS can offer !

One of the best spots to get NY pizza. Exactly what we were looking for – sauce was perfect, bottom crust thin and crunchy. If you are looking for a good quality slice on your visit, this place is it!

Roma’s pizza and garlic rolls made it all the way back to Tennessee so that I could share a taste of NYC with my husband. When I say delicious I mean the best ever!! There were so many choices to choose from, however I selected the chicken Alfredo and spinach and cheese with the rolls which were really good!

You won’t be disappointed! Thanks to our driver, Luis for recommending them

This place is a fantastic find! Roma Pizza serves up some truly great-tasting dishes. We had a pizza roll and a few different slices, and every single one was delicious.
What really makes this spot shine is the overall experience. The staff is incredibly courteous, the food comes out fast, and it’s all very decently priced. It’s clear they run a great operation.
While the main area isn’t huge, don’t let that fool you-they have more seating than you’d expect, with tables further inside and even some outdoor spots. For a quick, delicious, and friendly pizza experience, I highly recommend this place.
