My only “complaint” is that the staff made us feel very rushed to finish and pay, despite there being several empty tables available (restaurant was half full at max). We would have liked to sit and chat, but the staff kept coming over while we were still actively eating, asking if we wanted boxes and the bill. It did feel uncomfortable and slightly affected how I felt about the whole experience. I will likely return again but may opt for takeout.
Great flavor, generous portions, and a cozy vibe. Definitely one of the better Indo-Nepali spots in the area. Will be back for sure.
However, I realized I should have requested a spicier option for my dish, which was entirely my oversight. The biryani, unfortunately, didn’t meet my expectations and missed the mark for me personally. Despite that, I would still recommend this spot to others because of the overall ambiance and quality of the other offerings.
I have eaten here maybe 12-15 times. The service has been very good even when busy. The food is great I love spicy and they deliver.
The vegetarian options are great. Naan is some of the best around.
Nestled in amongst many Mediterranean restaurants this is a perfect option for those looking for something different.
The only item I’m not particularly fond of is the lentil soup. Not a fan in general but the flavor there is not that good.(could be taste preference).
Give it a try free parking in city lot in back. Back door is shared with jeweler and ice cream shop.
My first misunderstanding (which is on me) was expecting Nepali cuisine. When I arrived, I asked the host whether they use Sichuan peppercorns in their dishes, and he responded that it’s not used in Indian food. That left me a bit confused about whether the restaurant is meant to be Nepali or primarily Indian — the name had led me to expect something different.
The service, unfortunately, was disappointing. I was initially given a dirty fork
, and when I asked for a replacement, they took it away but never brought a new one — I ended up grabbing one from another table myself. I also asked for water and never received it.
The atmosphere itself was clean, and the music was pleasant, which I appreciated. As for the food, it was okay. I ordered chicken curry and asked for extra spicy, but it didn’t have much heat. One piece of chicken also seemed undercooked, which affected the overall experience.
Overall, it wasn’t terrible, but the service issues really dragged the experience down. The price was normal but for what I received I don’t think it was worth it. I wouldn’t recommend it based on my visit.
They offer food from different areas of the world and all of it is very good. The restaurant ambiance is such a treat with a mixture of class and culture that really makes the meal enjoyable. I did notice that it can get really busy but for us it was perfect.
I love their mango lassi, it really was a treat and helped with the spicy butter chicken that I ordered. 10/10 would recommend
Nepali chowmein: 4/5
The texture and taste was smooth. It was but sour strong smell that was coming out of it
Chicken methi 3.5/5
It was pretty sweet then expected and the chicken was bit raw but the gravy was thick and smooth. Which made up the raw chicken part
Nepali naan 4.5/5
It was stuffed with chicken and had good portions
Goat dum biryani 4/5
It was really flavorful and good but the portions were uneven. There were more goat meat then rice
Tandoori meat mix 4.5/5
All the meat was tender and tasty
Mango lemonade 5/5
It felt fresh and it was less sugary. The drink was light.
Overall the employee and server making sure everything was alright and their hospitality to cater their customers was top notch. That’s what I liked about them
