Visited this location with my wife last night and the service was phenomenal! From walking inside and being greeted by the young lady hostess to being seated by the manager who was really nice and accommodating. Our drinks were made to perfection, plus having our order done CORRECTLY! (A plus in the Columbia SC area) . The young man who waited on us was amazing, attentive and prompt. I definitely recommend giving this location a try despite the 3.9 stars.

Waited about 5 minutes to be seated. Not a big deal. It was slow.
A large man came out sweeping. I was ignored. A bartender came out and asked me if I was picking up an order. She clearly looked annoyed when I politely told her I was waiting to be seated. This was 2 hours before closing so it’s not like I’m being a jerk coning in late. I turned around and walked out. I’ll go pester someone else with my money.

I had an outstanding experience thanks to Jack, our waiter at Applebee’s. From the moment we were seated, he was incredibly friendly, energetic, and attentive. His knowledge of the menu was impressive—he offered great recommendations and answered every question with confidence and enthusiasm.
Jack consistently went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. His kindness and genuine care for guests truly set him apart. It’s rare to find someone who brings this level of professionalism and positivity to their work.
Employees like Jack are the reason customers keep coming back. He absolutely deserves recognition, and I sincerely believe he’s earned a raise or promotion. Applebee’s is lucky to have him!

The food is amazing, it’s so full of flavor and the portions are big! Prices are fair, I would even dare to say inexpensive, for the quality of food you’re getting. The restaurant has that homey vibe as it is a “Neighborhood grill” like they call themselves, but it is a great place to have lunch, dinner and even some drinks with your friends as it has a bar and they play great music too. The service is great, my husband and I have been there twice in the last week and both times it was amazing! We’re definitely coming back!

Service was excellent—the waiter was extremely attentive (no issues at all in this department)! The cheese sticks were cold and only warmed by the marinara sauce. However, I was disappointed by the lack of Christmas decorations. I even overheard a staff member tell a family they were not allowed to play Christmas music. Growing up, I enjoyed coming to Applebee’s for the festive, well-decorated environment. Unfortunately, it seems the restaurant (or Apple Green) has drastically changed its values. Will definitely change my rotation on how often I visit now.

Called in food at 9 pm got there about 915pm
Greeted by host let her know I wanted to get a beer at the bar. She stated she’d let the waitress know. Sat there after 5 minutes or more someone told me they’d check on my order. She’s comes with my food and asked if I’d like a drink. Started to then was like no thank you.
Got back to the hotel and pasta was dry and barely warm at best bread too. Bread room temperature
Asked I I wanted silverware and napkins in which I said yes we are in the hotel so I need them. Surprise, no utensils or napkins
Most the staff was sitting off in the back corner while only the bar tender and male server seemed be busy or even working
I get it, end of the night.
Won’t be coming back anytime soon specially when the food wasn’t good or satisfying
I’d try other places first or Applebees Lexington sc as a last resort

When we hit the 1-hour mark our waitress showed up for the first time since we sat down and when we said we just pay for our drinks and leave they said no the food would be quick and when we hit the hour and 20 minute Mark we just left. Restaurant was not busy. Could not get a manager. Hostess went four times to try to get her to come speak to us. She refused .

Service was good, slow but good. She was also tending bar which slowed things down. Most of our food was cold/old. I guess it sat there in the window with no one to run it out. We sat for a very long time waiting on our food. Shame because 2 carside to go people was sitting on their phones and could have helped. We sent some dishes back and the manager brought them back out to us. We explained to her our disappointment in the cold, overcooked food. We explained to her since we were a party of 10, they could bring our food out when it was ready. Manager stated, “She didn’t tell me that. I’ll give y’all a discount.” Thanks for the 10% when none of our food was edible. We will not be back. Food is TOO expensive for it to be cold, inedible, and thrown away!!!!

Haven’t been to an Applebee’s in a while and well it’s pretty much the same as always. Good food at a good price. Nothing too fancy and that’s okay. Appetizers are always great here, artichoke dip is one of my favorites. Riblets are also an easy go to if you can’t decide what to get.
