How could you not want to visit a place called Golden Pigeon? That what I said to myself as I finished some work in this town. I went very light on dinner last night and I was very hungry; imagine my delight when there’s something called the Hungry Man special here! The food was good old fashion diner chow and it was plenty! I couldn’t even finish all of the home fries. My waitress was attentive and kind. I would come back here to try other things if I was passing through. Thanks GP.

Went here with my husband for dinner we got seated right away the waitress came over took our drink order and ask if we need a few minutes which we did then she came back over asking what we could get I wasn’t ready but my husband was so he ordered then I hurried up and ordered which was three eggs over easy short stake of french toast came with hash browns the hash browns were over cooked the eggs were really runny the french toast I can’t even explain how they made that out waitress didn’t come back over until me and my husband were both done but I told her and the manager ask if I wanted anything else I told him no but they tried to make it write so I give them three stars for that my husband liked what he got I will go back but definitely won’t be getting breakfast from there

First time ever going here. My brother who has been here many times beforehand told me not to get anything seafood. My curiosity grew as an experienced reviewer or food blogger. I love trying everything even if it’s bad. So, I got the Chicken Alfredo. At first glance it looks appetizing. Once I dug in. I tried the chicken first. Hard, tacky and tough to chew. Pasta needed more salt but it was cooked all the way through. The crab. The crab was diabolical. The crab tasted like it came out of a can and got warmed up in the microwave. I’ve had fresh crab before and that was not it. The server was nice but it seemed as though they were understaffed which means the waiter took a while to get to our table. The menu was a disaster there are way too many options to pick from. Some people like having many options but for me it takes longer to decide what I want because the menu is so big on selection. Overall rating for this diner. 2.3 I will not be back.

Incredible menu and portions are huge! Staff and Kyleigh our waitress were very friendly and accommodating. We come here after a day of fishing at Fort Esque. Plenty of space for parking our boat.

Stopped going here years ago due to the lack of cleanliness and inconsistent food quality. Tried it again 2 Sundays ago and the food was vastly improved. Went today and they are back to poorly prepared food. I guess we just got lucky the last time. Their nickname of “The Dirty Bird” still applies. What a shame.

We got there everything was fine a little rude here and they are in their voices but what to expect. It was a little late in the evening then ordered our food got our food. The kids food was not prepared, right the eggs were super runny raw Gooey filling in all, my food was brought out and they spilled hot steak juice all over my foot and didn’t say nothing about. It told them that it was burning. They said they could do nothing about it. Once again was treated ignorant went up to pay. They all hooked us down as if we was gonna dash told him if we could get a discount or anything for them not cooking the eggs probably they said no and then I said what are they gonna do that? They spell hot steak juices on my leg. They said nothing they could do once again they were not proper whatsoever, rude to us. Best not to go there. Find some other late diner at night or if you come here be prepared to be treated for rudeness and ignorant, not caring people.
