The service was good and our server was nice. We ordered the blooming onion which is always a delicious option. I ordered a steak with 2 sides. My sides I chose were the loaded baked potato and the steakhouse Mac and cheese. Both were fantastic. My first time trying the Mac and cheese and my 2 year old daughter loved it. It had great flavor. My steak was cooking perfectly to my like. My only complaint was my steak was pretty tough, it was that tender which was a bummer.

Dear Outback,
I just wanted to pick up some of your delicious shrimp appetizer, I placed the order online. The order would be ready by 9:03. I received the second message at 8:48, and shortly after arrived outside your construction zone. I drove around to see where I should pick up. Couldn’t recognize any place I should park so I settled for the wait out front of the lobby.
I saw no evidence of directions so I put my car in park and waited. I arrived at 8:50, I assumed I would get a message when my order was actually ready or that someone would come out with my order. I called at 9:04, no one picked up after 10 rings.
At 9:06 I entered the front lobby, there was no one to greet me, I waited 10 min. I finally went searching, through the restaurant near the kitchen, peeked in to try to get the cooks attention to no avail. As I turned away I almost bumped into a worker that directed me to a certain door. Inside was another worker who had my order beside her.
I just spent $20 for a sucky experience.
I was treated like I should have known to navigate through the parking lot to the hidden pick up stall that was pointed out to me buried behind the construction fencing and equipment.
If I were a tourist or someone passing through I would have been very frustrated with the lack of consideration.
But I’m not, I live here. I don’t like getting lost in someone else’s mess. I understand human errors and that they can occur even if you have a system. But Outback, Your electronic system and human system failed me tonight. I have worked nonstop all day and just wanted some hot delicious coconut shrimp to close my day.
I did get several, I don’t want to deal with you apologies. This is where any self respecting business would have taught their hired help to make it right. The whole experience was as I said sucky.
BTW my 10 little pieces of shrimp were cold when I arrived home 5 min after pick up.
I’m assuming they sat in the bag for at least 20 mins before I was able to locate my order.
Try harder Outback. Ask me what it would take to make up for the loss.
You do know that dining is an experience worth remembering if it is handled well.

We had a really bad experience at Outback. The food took so long they gave us a free Bloomin’ Onion. The side salad was terrible, with soggy, old-tasting lettuce. My Alice Springs Chicken was dry, and topped with clumped cheese, mushrooms that didn’t taste or look like mushrooms, and cheap-quality bacon that wasn’t crispy. My kid’s grilled cheese was made with cheap bread and processed cheese, and the “fresh” fruit looked cut days old. My husband’s burger was extremely mid.

I ordered a burger (cooked medium) and the waitress put this down in front of me. It looked underdone, so I cut it open and a living, breathing cow was staring at me. When the waitress came over next I explained the predicament and she responded by saying, “This is a medium. Bit of advice for next time; ask for a medium well.” and walked away without helping me at all. Not sure her name but she was working on November 16, 2025 and 12:16 PM. MIND YOU this whole thing happened after waiting an extremely long time for the food. With how long we waited I really thought I’d get a plate of charred meat. What was the burger doing back there? Were they brushing the cow’s hair and milking it? And why was the waitress giving attitude? The meat had clearly gone straight from the packaging into my burger. Why wasn’t she on my side? The kind of questions I guess only God can answer me.
EDIT: Owner responded to me here, but they never got back to me 🙁 would recommend any other place for beef where they don’t store the cows alive in the pen out-back (haha)

Made a reservation in the evening for 2 and was seated immediately. All drinks and food came out at a moderately quick timing, and our server was very efficient! We ordered a ribeye steak and pasta, all tasting incredible. We went on a Tuesday so not too many people were there, weekends are much busier. I’ve been to this location 3-4 times and have had consistent great service every time. 5 stars from be based off food and service

The atmosphere was nice and not as loud as the roadhouse. I really liked the clam chowder. The salad was bagged lettuce, which I hate, so there were wilted pieces of lettuce mixed in. Our waitress was just ok. My lobster was really good. Over all it was fine but definitely not the quality of Texas Roadhouse.

We were in town celebrating a birthday and had the best dinner at Outback! Our server Matthew was perfectly attentive without being overbearing! We got our food quickly and it was delicious! Our Blooming Onion was of course our favorite! Our steak was cooked to perfection! Overall such a fun and delicious experience!

This was our first time trying and honestly that’s the last time we’ll be going. It was all just mediocre food so really the cost was way too high. I got steak & ribs combo. The steak was actually pretty good, cooked and seasoned well. The ribs were alright, a little dry and the BBQ sauce wasn’t my fav. The mashed potato’s were good, but the Mac and cheese had so much pepper it was spicy. My husband got the steak & shrimp pasta and it was cold and flavorless. There was supposed to be an Alfredo sauce but there was so little sauce you couldn’t really tell it was there. Taking a drink of my drink came back with a little broccoli leaf in my mouth…we hadn’t even ordered food yet. So really just over priced and not that good of food.

Had a wonderful night out the night before valentine’s day. It is under renovation, so it wasn’t very crowded. Service was quick, steak cooked exactly like the salt it would be like in the menu description. Everything tasted great. Portion size and amount was small for the coconut shrimp, so a little disappointing.

I’m not one to give bad reviews unless the place really earned it. Sadly, this place is off our list of places to eat in St George. To start, it’s filthy. I wish the two pictures I included could tell the whole story. There wasn’t a spot on the floor that didn’t have food, napkins and wrappers from straws strewn about. And to make things worse, the employees walked right through it all without any effort to clean it up. There were several open tables but almost all of them still needed to be cleared or wiped down. Imagine what the kitchen must look like. How does this place even pass health inspections??
The person who seated us obviously doesn’t like her job; lots of heavy sighs and an apathetic attitude to customers.
My wife ordered steak (medium) and lobster. I ordered a simple bacon cheeseburger (medium). They forgot her lobster and overcooked her steak and my cheeseburger. They said 4-5 minutes to bring another properly cooked steak. The rest of the party was almost done eating by the time it arrived. It took a reminder to get the lobster.
And no, I’m not just piling on the negativity. It truly was that bad. Unfortunately this wasn’t a one-time incident. The last time we ate there, my steak was bloody rare, so uncooked it was purple. I requested medium. They took it back and returned with yet another bloody rare steak. A third time and it was charred on the outside yet still rare. One final time and it was well-done and charred. I almost believe the cook had it with me. I didn’t eat it and they asked if I wanted it removed from the bill. Yes, of course I do.
We love Outback, just not the one here in St George.
