I ordered Eggs Benedict with hash browns, onion and cheese. My meal was prepared to perfection. I sometimes hesitate to order anything with a hollandaise sauce because my husband’s is amazing and hard to beat. Hash browns are my favorite and my late Mom prepared them perfectly. Crumbled bacon, diced onion, and hard boiled potatoes; mouthwateringly deliciousness.
This meal tasted amazing, plated beautifully, and was more than I could manage in one sitting. I brought leftovers home and enjoyed them for lunch. The hollandaise was lovely, the eggs and ham very tasty. The hash browns were delicious; crispy potatoes, onions cooked to translucent yumminess, and the perfect amount of cheese. I’ll be back!!

I absolutely love Deforest family restaurant, it sits just a few minutes out side of the hustle and bustle of Madison, but close enough that it’s no issue choosing to go here over some of the great restaurants in Madison. They have a great breakfast menu (you have to try the biscuits and gravy *chefs kiss*) and their dinner menu is good as well. Their burgers are big, and have great flavor. They have really fried good cheese curds and their chicken and dumpling soup is easily a 10/10. This is one of my “go-to’s” when I have out of town visitors.

Heading home from a fun Dells weekend on a Sunday night we knew we needed dinner. Decided to stop here as we try to support local small businesses. So glad we did! Kiki (spelling?) was absolutely fantastic even though they seemed short-staffed. Food was wonderful but our service was even better. Waters filled and plates cleared efficiently. As I’ve worked in hospitality I really do notice these things. Please continue what you are doing. We will be back when we travel through the area. Thank you for a great experience!

Definitely glad we saw this restaurant on Google maps when we were trying to find somewhere to eat while passing through the area. Their menu has a little bit of something for everyone. We had 9 people including kids and no one had complaints. Our waitress was leaving just before we were ready to leave. She came to let us know she was leaving but there was no rush. She even brought her mom over to introduce her as our next server. Everyone was so sweet. The food was delicious. Will definitely return if in the area and will recommend to our Madison friends.

Was driving down the interstate and seen deforest family resturant advertised on the food sign for the exit and decided to stop! The food was amazing and the service was awesome! Nice mom and pop resturant. It was so good we stopped by again the next week. This will be a stop now when we head that way again!

Went here on a Sunday for brunch. Very popular place, parking lot was full and there was a short wait for a table. Staff is super nice and friendly. Great selection of different items on the menu, will have to come back to try lunch and dinner items. Our brunch was delicious. I got a bacon/ cheese omelette with wheat toast and hash browns. Very generous amount of bacon and cheese in the omelette. My husband got one of their skillets: Meat lovers and a side pancake. Both were delicious. Very family friendly restaurant, saw quite a few families dinning in.

Brought my family to this resturant for dinner. We were treated so poorly i will never return to this resturant again. They charged us $4 dollars for a fountain drink. They also charged $4 dollars for coslow. I didn’t think that they would charge that kind of prices. The color was horrible I took one bite and she wouldnt credit me for the food. Clean and bright spot to grab breakfast after a flight if headed north from Madison. Quick service and friendly staff. Worth the 4 minute drive from the freeway. Pancakes and corned beef hash are quite good.
