Lunch was delicious! Have been craving crab legs lately and this was the perfect place to stop. Hush puppies were so good you couldn’t stop eating them! Homemade tartar sauce was the best I’ve had. Whiting was okay. The calamari was hand breaded with a very light breading that was delicious. Messy, but super fun meal. Waitress was super sweet.

I’ve heard about this place for a long time, and finally had the chance to come here with friends and family. It did not disappoint! The chicken wings appetizer was amazing, super tasty. The seafood was extremely fresh and delicious. Everything we ordered was great. Definitely worth the hype — we’ll be back!

First time at a seafood boil restaurant and it was very delicious. They had a special and got that with the mixed sauce. We also ordered hush puppies which were very good. The seafood came and we dug in. I’m glad they provided bibs, wipes and a separate bucket for waste. We enjoy seafood and the experience was both fun and memorable.

Made reservations for 15 for my husband bday, arrived on time and they had given our seat to another group so we had to split up our family. Drove over an hour for this restaurant. Wouldn’t honor my husbands bday coupon because it was the day after his bday. Instead they brought him out a “pink” keychain… Service was poor and the food was poor as well. This place is not friendly and the atmosphere was poor, customer service POOR! Would NOT recommend this restaurant to anyone! But they sure didn’t miss applying a tip for us!

My experience at Cincy Crab was extremely negative, and I left feeling uncomfortable and disrespected. The food was poorly prepared, items were missing from my order, and the staff did not make any effort to address the issue or provide customer-friendly service.
The restaurant had an unpleasant smell upon entry, appeared dirty and outdated, and did not feel sanitary—especially for a business serving shellfish and other foods that can carry bacteria if not handled properly. I also noticed what appeared to be a bug near the entrance, which raised even more concerns about cleanliness and food safety.
The manager/franchise owner—who oversees both the Cincinnati location and the Buttermilk, Kentucky location—was extremely unprofessional in his communication. His behavior toward me felt disrespectful and dismissive, and did not reflect the basic standards of customer service or leadership. Based on this interaction, I believe management would benefit from serious training in professionalism and communication.
The overall atmosphere did not feel welcoming, and the way I was treated left me feeling singled out and uncomfortable. Because of this, I personally do not feel comfortable supporting this business.
At this point, I will not be returning to either location, and the only time I could imagine stepping back into this establishment is if it were to observe meaningful changes or improvements in the future.
Until major improvements are made in cleanliness, customer service, professionalism, and management, I cannot recommend this business to anyone.
This business will Not thrive ! Handle them ancestors! Don’t waste your money !

The bottom paragraph was my previous review but now I’m unfortunately updating my review because of a situation that happened with us tonight. So we arrived there (Me, my husband and our one year old baby) the lady greeted us and we told her we were expecting 3 more adults, she was like: “so 6 people” when I replied: “5 adults and a baby” she repeated again and again “Yeah 6 people”. I didn’t understand why she needed me to confirm that 5 adults and 1 baby were 6 people, but when we got the check they automatically added 18% tip which was $40 on our bill because we are a party of 6 (this is what they do for a party of 6 or more). My husband told them that our baby didn’t even eat o get any service in the restaurant! She is one year old!!!! The owner or manager replied that our baby is considered a person so we’re 6 people hahahaha! COMPLETE Rip-off! Paying $40 for service just because we brought our baby with us!
So sad now they lost a loyal customer.
Seafood boil is actually my favorite thing to eat and I had a lot of seafood boils in my life! This branch of Cincy Crab has great seafood boil.
We ordered headless shrimps, lobster tail, and crab legs (along with the corn and potatoes of course) and let me tell you it was good! We actually had it three times last week.
My go to is always medium heat cajun sauce.
Always great service, clean restaurant, easy access parking.

Best seafood I’ve eaten for a long time! Wait time for food is short ~15-20mins after we ordered. Food was actually better than expected and perfectly seasoned and hot! Staff (Anne was our server), is very helpful and polite. Great value for your $$ Will definitely be back with rest of family and friends. Recommended for seafood lovers.
