I specified grilled onions not raw, I specified NO BEANS, and I asked that my steak be prepared medium well, but clearly paying attention to detail is not their thing. My meal was served with raw onions, beans and a cold steak. I sent it back and specified that they please sauté the onions and cook the steak as I don’t want cold steak. Ultimately, my food was never prepared correctly and the manager on duty was to busy doing next to nothing to come over and apologize for all of the kitchen’s shortcomings!! This place is not the great restaurant it used to be and I would recommend gooding some place where they actually care about the food they serve!! By the way, I was given 3 small pieces of bread and I asked for some butter. I was served a small plate of butter, enough for an entire loaf of bread with a spoon. I guess they were all out of butter knifes and common sense. No management, no apparent training, and poor food product makes for crossing Las Vegas Cuban Cuisine permanently off my places to go for Cuban food!!
Drinks were a steal during happy hour – $4 sangria and margaritas that were both strong and refreshing. The outdoor seating was cozy, the music was great, and the staff made us feel welcome from the start.
If you’re looking for authentic Cuban bites, great drinks, and a relaxed vibe – this is the spot. We’ll absolutely be back!
The food was solid. The rice was cooked perfectly, with the right texture and flavor. The shredded beef was well-marinated, tender, and packed with flavor. We also tried the pulled pork, which had a rich pork taste complemented by onions—simple but well-seasoned.
The only slight letdown was the flan dessert, which was a bit too sweet for my taste. It’s a good spot for a quick and satisfying Cuban meal.
I have been visiting Las Vegas Restaurant
for a few years now, I had celebrated my son’s High school graduation, family birthdays there and the restaurant has been a really family restaurant for me and my family like I said before for years.
I don’t know what it’s happening right now, last visits had not been the great ones, food cold, meat rare and without flavor, Cuban sandwich that you don’t know if you asked for a Cuban sandwich or ham and cheese sandwich, if your requested the pork to be well done does not matter how many times you asked for well done it is not made as you requested, the tres leches had been a dry cake, not a tres leches.
Management is not the same, last two visits I informed my concerns and I received an apology which I accepted expecting when I made another future visit everything will be better as before but was the same.
I know that are more great than bad reviews here but I hope my this review can be take in consideration for the management.
Until then I appreciated the good old times.
We started off with the empanadas which were huge! They were very good, we got 2 beef and 1 chicken. The entrees came out soon after and the beans and plantains were amazing! I had the Vaca Frita de Pollo and my wife had the Camarones enchilada! We enjoyed our food very much!
We will definitely be back in the future!!
