I honestly don’t understand why this place is only rated 4.4 — it deserves way higher!
The marinated raw crab was absolutely amazing — super fresh and flavorful.
I first came here two months ago, and now I’ve been back yesterday and today in a row because it’s just THAT good.
Their oyster jjamppong soup is next-level delicious — rich, spicy, and full of flavor.
Plus, all the staff are so kind, friendly, and make you feel right at home.
Highly recommend this place if you love authentic Korean food — it’s easily one of my favorites now!

I had an amazing experience at this Korean restaurant. The food quality is genuinely impressive, and everything tasted fresh and flavorful. The appetizers were a great start and really set the tone for the meal.
The Beef Bulgogi was outstanding — honestly one of the best I’ve ever had. Perfectly seasoned, tender, and cooked just right. The Spicy Pork Belly was also delicious with just the right amount of heat, and the Chicken Katsu was crispy on the outside and juicy inside.
Overall, the dishes were all consistently high quality, and I would definitely come back again. Highly recommended

Good place for Korean food. We were here for lunch, and the food was delicious. The prices are high as usual for Korean food, but it’s worth it.

Went here almost a month ago, just before closing time — and still had such a lovely experience. The staff was super kind and attentive, even though it was late.

Food came out fast and everything we ordered was absolutely delicious. No disappointments at all! This has officially become one of my favorite Korean restaurants

Highly recommend it to anyone who loves Korean food. I’ll definitely be back, even though it’s a 45-minute drive from home. Totally worth it!

Such an authentic Korean spot! Every dish was unique, packed with flavor, and just fantastic. The side dishes? Absolutely top-tier—so good I could’ve had a meal with just those. And the entrees? Equally impressive! Their dubuki was insanely flavorful and juicy, easily one of my favorites. The place has plenty of seating, and the hospitality? 10/10. Definitely recommending this place and already planning to take my friends back.

We recently hosted my nephew’s 1st birthday party at Korean Palace, and it was perfect.

They accommodated our group of 40 guests, and everything from the food to the service exceeded our expectations. Korean food is best when served warm and they made sure the food stayed warm by setting up chafing dish buffet sets. The dishes were absolutely delicious, and the facility was spotless and welcoming. We couldn’t have asked for a better location to celebrate such a special milestone.

Thank you again!

What a great family run restaurant. The staff was so hospitable and Heather was especially sweet and made us feel super comfortable. Food was good, we left with full bellies! Kimchi was authentic and the meat was good quality. The bibimbap was very stadium, and nice with the crispy rice!

Best and most authentic Korean food I’ve found in the Detroit Metro area so far (granted I still haven’t been to some of the more well known places). The fact that the place was filled with Koreans says a lot though. And this was on a Tuesday night. The KBBQ was excellent, as well as the ban chan. The bibimbap could have used a little more protein (we got the bulgogi) and the haemul pancake and the jumuluk galbi were great!

Service was very good as well.

Highly recommended!!

I honestly think Samantha‘s review of Korean Palace is completely wrong and bogus. This restaurant serves top-notch food, top-notch service and top-notch quality. You cannot compare a restaurant down the street Prices against a top quality restaurant.

It’s disappointing to say this because the food is good. But I want to warn people that they overcharge their clients based on ethnic background. We ordered a side of steamed eggs which at their competitor Chung ki wa they charge $4.95 and for the Sapporo beer, they charge 7.95. I have been to this restaurant before, and I know the pricing and cost of certain dishes. When we received our bill, both the eggs and the beer were the same price $9.99. We brought it up to the server and he said that it was due to inflation of eggs and completely gaslighted us with no apologies or accommodating us in any way. He just stood there with his arms crossed. I think it’s safe to say that we will not be coming back here again and it’s naïve to think we wouldn’t know the Costs of these items due to the fact that we frequently eat out in that area. We even know the markets that they get their food from.. we will gladly take our business to somewhere more honest and respectful.
