Came in for a full Breakfast a Sunday at 11:00ish.
The place was pretty full, so we were lucky to find a table. The vibe was cozy with a ton of students hanging out.
The food was great, the wait time was fine. A great place for a snack, cake or breakfast.
The two girls behind the counter seemed like they had their hands full, were busy and did everything they could to serve everyone. I Imagine they would’ve loved having an extra coworker that specific sunday.

Huge quality drop in this place, which used to be one of my Oxford favourites.
Burnt coffee (x2), shorter menu with only typical stuff and poor quality food with little love from the chef also. The english muffins were dry, the orange juice was extremely acidic and it used to be freshly made but now it comes bottled.
We had to order from a QR code (or so it said at the entrance) but there was no QR code. The food took 50 min to arrive on what I’d consider a non bussy day.
The only interaction with the waitress was when, after we had finished, she took the plates away and asked us how everything was. I told her I was sad there had been a drop on quality and she just laughed and turned away.
The bright side is we spent 21£ between the 2 of us.

The food was decent, the service was great and the place looks quirky.
We had eggs royale and American pancakes for breakfast. The poached eggs were decent. The American pancakes were not exactly American pancakes (but then UK doesn’t actually know how to make proper diner American pancakes), but the staff get extra points for accommodating the fact that we wanted a combination of 2 of their items and ended up giving me something that’s not on the menu (Bananas and maple syrup, along with Nutella).
Nice place for a decent breakfast.

We were treated by the George Street Social Team to a lovely brunch following a previous experience where we caught the restaurant on an off day. We were much more impressed on our second visit by the food (I would recommend the berry pancakes)! The service was fantastic, and the atmosphere was great.
Thank you very much to Peter and the George Street Social Team!

Taste overall 6.5/10, The big appetite set is not good 3/10, nachos set is good 8/10, Sausage is 6/10 a lil too salty for me, Cauliflower 8/10 pretty nice, main meal Beef burger overall 7/10: burger 6/10, fries(chips) 8.5/10, Brownie 6.5/10, Tiramisu 6/10, Cake of the day (passion fruit) 6/10; Portion with price 5/10; Service 2/10 super slow, the orders are messed up, tho we have 14 ppls, we preordered everything(except drinks) a week before. The garlic prawn that a few of us ordered wasn’t served because they dont have enough(again preordered already), the vanilla ice-cream that supposed to come with cake is also missing with the reason that they dont have them today (again, preordered); cleanness 6/10 bathroom is bad; vibe is not bad 8/10 and beer is good. It might be better if u just go and get food without preorder and a lot of ppl i guess. But they definitely can improve on service. The staff is not rude tho, just not efficient.

We chose this spot due to the late morning availability time frame and proximity to the bus station before our departure at Oxford and while the food was mediocre, the service was fine and it checked the box on the convenience factor.
We tried different variations of the Eggs Benedict, from traditional to Florentine (spinach) to Salmon, and they were all well presented but underwhelming in terms of flavor.
Our server was humorous (or at least he thought so!) and was engaged and helpful throughout our meal.

Have come here several times, for brunch and dinner, and am always impressed by the good food and especially the exceptional service. There are multiple options for vegetarians. Peter is incredibly friendly, funny, and kind, and always makes us want to come back. One of my favorites in downtown Oxford.

Visited Oxford for the first time and tried this lovely brunch spot. I got the Breakfast Bun which was absolutely delicious, no complaints, very flavourful and extremely yummmy!!! The hot chocolate was lovely and not too sweet too and the pancakes were nice! What I loved as well is that this cafe has games and books that you can read / play while dining. Me and my boyfriend ended up playing Articulate for 45mins after we finished dining and we loved the atmosphere, very relaxed with lovely staff. I live far from Oxford but if I’m ever down again, I know where to go! Thank you :)))

We were truly disappointed with this place. We were hoping to have a nice brunch there after a long driving morning and we couldn’t find any good food in their new menu. There was neither shakshuka nor berry pancakes. The website doesn’t work. And the menu you can get at the bar yourself. So you can imagine our disappointment that we didn’t see the meals we wanted to order. We left for this reason. Additionally, it was very loud inside. However, they love dogs and are pet friendly, which is good.
