Walked in without a reservation before the opening time, but the owner happily accommodated us and allowed us to sit in the trattoria to wait for service to start. Ordered handrolled Pici with sausages, pecorino sauce and parmigiano crisp (creamy, complex, rich, absolutely addictive), ribollita (hot, homely, with a great variety of tasty stewed vegetables), grilled sausages with roasted potatoes (really well seasoned with a bunch of herbs, nicely charred), and chestnut pudding (one of the best dessert I’ve had in Italy, custard had a beautiful chestnut puree flavor with some dark chocolate, caramel and some kind of crumble). Portion sizes are all very big, and food was so delicious.

Simple no nonsense fare that is delicious, hearty. We had the seafood pasta and grilled veal. Bonus points for having a random chilli oil that tastes exactly like what my Asian mother-in-law puts on her fish back home.

We found this little gem of a restaurant by chance. What a wonderful warm reception we got from the staff, the menu was authentic with a good choice of meat, fish, vegetarian options. I had a fantastic fillet steak cooked to perfection (medium rare) and reasonably priced and the homemade fruits of the forest cheesecake for desert.
The overall atmosphere of this small delightful traditional Tuscan restaurant was lifted above others we’d tried by the staff. So much so, we reserved a table for our last night in Florence.

The food is really delicious! The prices are reasonable considering the portion sizes and the taste. The staff is very kind and friendly. The place is small, but it has a nice atmosphere. They also offer great lunch deals at very good prices.

Simply delicious! We made a reservation, and were so happy we did because this place fills up fast (I can see why!). I thoroughly enjoyed my pasta dish and the chicken, while my friend enjoyed his steak! He said it was the best steak he ever had! We wish we were in Florence longer to try this place again!

Best steak i ever had. The service was great, and the ambient was lovely. My wife love their seafood allo scoglio. The appetizers were fantastic. Amazing food and people. We had no reservations, came early, but they allowed us to dine. The place gets packed further into the night. Definitely a must try when in Florence.

Probably my favourite pasta dish during my trip to Italy. A must try get the mushroom truffle cream sauce pasta! Also the lady serving us was super nice and lovely! They have a great deal with the Florentine steak as well! Personally I’m not a huge steak fan but a lot of people recommend trying steak in Florence at least once!

This charming restaurant offers an authentic Italian experience with a warm, welcoming atmosphere. The prices are very reasonable, and the house wine is excellent smooth, rich, and perfectly paired with the food. I highly recommend the mussels, the pappa al pomodoro, and the steak all beautifully prepared and full of flavour. The hostess was absolutely delightful charming, funny, and made us feel right at home. I didn’t take many photos during the meal (a testament to how good it was!), but I genuinely can’t recommend this place enough.
