Great hidden gem Resturant and Bar in the Virginia Beach area. The food was amazing and location has daily specials. We tried the pork rinds with chili sauce and found them a great combo. The pizza was nice and thin and the hot honey was a great adder. The lamb burger with fried egg was really good and was nice to have the salad vs fries.

Stopped in for dinner on a Tuesday night and was seated right away. Cozy neighborhood bar/restaurant I could see coming to often if it were in my neighborhood. Had their Lamb Mushroom Burger, Shrimp and Grits, Braised Pork Shoulder, Mac & Cheese for the lil one, and the Bread Pudding. The food was nothing to rave about, but it was pretty good. The only con was the burger was small, dry and didn’t have many mushrooms. Our waitress was friendly but was a ghost for the majority of our meal. No water refills etc.

Stopped by this lovely restaurant after landing back from a trip to kill time and avoid traffic. Service was quick and friendly. Our waitress was super knowledgeable and helpful when it came to our questions and decision making. They have quite the selection of craft, local beers as well. Food, desserts and drinks were all very tasty! Would definitely visit again if we are ever back in the area!!

Food was amazing and the service was fantastic. The scallops and the pork belly empanadas were so good we ended up ordered another serving of each. Highly recommend!

After driving for ten hours in the car back home to Virginia Beach we decided to pick up food to take home. I ordered the shrimp and grits. $27 plus tax and tip and the portion size is obnoxious. This is ridiculous. I can’t believe I paid the amount I did for two tiny cups not even filled halfway of grits and shrimp. Do better! So disappointed and hungry.

Went in with high hopes of good food left not even eating half of my meal everything was super bland! If your looking for seasoned food, GO ELSEWHERE. I was super excited for the Lamberger. It looked great but tasted like retirement home food even with salt, pepper, and ketchup, added it still didn’t help. They don’t have any regular dressings. They’re all house made & not actually good so couldnt even eat my salad. My friend tasted everything i had also & agreed his poutine was fine. The best part of my entire meal was the skillet cookie dessert. It was amazing. Service was OK. They were just moving kind of slow for them to not be busy when we went and the atmosphere sheesh its literally like a dungeon inside super dark! Luckily they discounted my food since i left basically everything on my plate so customer service was good but Iwon’t be back except for that cookie really.

Great experience! The food was delicious and looked all/mostly homemade. The wait was a tiny bit longer than I’m used to, but the food totally evened that out. I got the pork burger, which was so good! And to finish we got a grilled PB&J for dessert. If you like PB&J’s, this dessert is for you!! Hope to visit again someday:)

Friendly service for sure. A definite 5. Ambiance could use some help, the lighting is too low that it feels stuffy and dated. There aren’t a lot of wall decor. Definitely a 2 for ambiance.

We ordered chili with pork rinds. Must have been an off day since the pork rinds were under seasoned and not fresh from fryer temperature hot. It made the rinds tough and not crispy. We also ordered lamb burger. Seems that there is some vinegary taste to it. Not a huge fan. The tangy chicken was the best. Very well seasoned, came with sunny side egg and gravy. Food was a solid 3.

I stopped in for a quick bite during happy hour around 4pm. I had delicious freshly shucked local oysters served with a selection of craft hot sauce. I also enjoyed a serving of oxtail chili on special with home made queso and freshly fried pork rind. The menu was well curated by the chef and was clearly made with passion. The foods I ordered were served promptly and with a great attitude from the bartender and server assisting him. The environment was welcoming and friendly. The beer list was stellar. It offered a mix of local cans and popular brews from around the States, Canada, and beyond. The bartender informed me of tap takeovers and other exciting happenings at this awesome quaint local spot. Would go back!
