We had such a wonderful experience here! The service was incredibly warm and friendly from the moment we walked in, which instantly made us feel welcome. The atmosphere was bright, fun, and relaxed — the perfect vibe for a break during a long drive. ✨ We stopped on our way home from Bangor, Maine to North Carolina, and it truly turned out to be the perfect stop!
The portions were HUGE — definitely more than we expected — and the quality of the food was absolutely outstanding. Everything tasted fresh and made with care. My husband ordered an omelette, and it was packed with flavor and cooked perfectly. I chose the “lighter fare” breakfast, and even that was generous and delicious!
And I can’t forget the coffee ☕ — it was rich, smooth, and exactly what we needed to keep going on the road. Overall, an amazing experience we’d happily repeat. Highly recommend stopping here if you get the chance!

First time here… and probably the last. When we arrived, it wasn’t very busy and we were told to sit anywhere. It took quite a while before anyone came over to take our order.

I ordered the Monte Cristo, which was honestly the saddest one I’ve ever had, just two paper-thin slices of ham and a slice of yellow processed cheese that you buy individually with the plastic wrap between French toast. It didn’t resemble a true Monte Cristo at all. My mother ordered home fries, and while they were “grilled”, she said they tasted “funky,” almost like a dirty fry pan.

On top of the food, the overall cleanliness was concerning. The drink special stand on the table was sticky and covered in fingerprints, like it hadn’t been wiped down in ages. The paper placemat was literally stuck to the table. Even the ketchup bottle was gross with the label peeling off and clearly just being refilled over and over.

Unfortunately, not a great experience from start to finish..

This is a fun place to get quality food, and LOTS of it for a decent price. It’s always busy here so you may have to wait a bit to get seated and the waitstaff will be a little pushy and short with you so they can serve everyone quickly, but the food comes out quick, hot, and in generous amounts. I love the banana pancakes, but they have all kinds. All of their food is delicious and made well. We come here at least 4 times a year as it’s a 45 minute drive for us, or we would be here much more!!

Portions are HUGE!! It was our first time there, saw the sign on our was to New Hampshire, we needed breakfast so we decided to give it a try! The only downside of huge portions, is the amount of wasted food. The picture is my 5 year old daughters breakfast. She definitely didnt eat even half of it. The food was very good, the service was quick and they were very nice.

The chocolate chip pancakes were HUGE…and fluffy! The turkey club and fries were great. And it’s a nice, clean, cute, typical American family restaurant.

We stopped in on our way back to North Carolina from Acadia. The food is so good, we were more than happy! It’s a LOT too. Biggest bang for your buck. Our server Jessica was very sweet and efficient!

Highly recommend

Food was extremely bland. No seasonings on the potatoes. The scrambled eggs were wet and tasted like nothing. Homemade hash was strange, made with mashed potatoes. Also had to flag down the waitress for more drinks, boxes etc. never came to check on us and very hard to get their attention. Also it’s so loud you can’t even hear yourself think.

This review is based only on this one experience, I’m sure future experiences good or bad will change each time, not every service is perfect no matter where you go.

This is a very busy place so if you don’t have patience then this isn’t the place to go. We came here for breakfast yesterday and the food is absolutely delicious. They serve breakfast and lunch meals at any time of day. They are open until two in the afternoon everyday. We came yesterday around eight in the morning. Was pretty busy but the portion sizes are worth the wait, it reminds me of Big G’s. Parking seems okay, they have vegetarian options, and it’s definitely kid friendly. They have a ramp for wheelchairs and plenty of booths and tables. They have a back lounge as well. The decor is pretty nice, photos all across the walls of the restaurant. It’s a cozy atmosphere. I got the eggs benedict, they put a lot of ham in it, most places don’t. I got a side of potatoes/hash browns. The potatoes were yummy and the eggs benedict was amazing. I got a side of stuffed french toast, not a lot of cream cheese in it but was still good. My husband got pancakes that were bigger than his head. No joke. Portion sizes are definitely worth the price here. The waitress could have been more attentive but she did have a lot of tables.

For how busy it was the place was reasonably clean, go early in the morning, the later you go the more busy they get. Price wise it wasn’t bad, I would definitely recommend trying this place. They seemed to have a lot of crew on that morning. They have an atm but they still accept debit/credit and cash. My only real complaint is the menu is super busy with way to much to read, too many choices but that’s just a personal nit pick.

Overall, 4 stars! <3

Usually don’t have a problem here at all. Went here for breakfast using the drive thru. While the drive thru is nice the person working it was not. The order was rung up so it costs the most it possibly could have after we told her we are unsure of what the meal is called on the menu she threw her arms up as to ask “what do you want me to do.” When we got our food she literally threw the bag of food into my car. When we got home we couldn’t find the sandwich we ordered so we called them. The same person from the drive thru answered and demanded that it was in there. To their credit yes it was but it was stuffed into the bottom of the bag with the syrup, napkins, and plastic ware. On the bright side the portions are great but the food was all slightly undercooked.
