After hearing how “excellent” this place was for 2 years, my husband and I finally decided to give it a try. BIG mistake!
We experienced soggy bruschetta, a undercooked cheese pizza disguised as a margarita pizza over powered by garlic, a server who cared so little she didn’t even ask how our food was and forgot to take our beverage order. We were also seated in the heated outdoor patio, on a tilting table, next to a drafty window sealed with black duct tape. Don’t even get me started on the bathrooms! I can’t imagine what the kitchen looks like. Will NOT be back!

DO NOT GET THE GARLIC AND BASIL LINGUINE. IT IS AS THICK AS A STRAW AND HORRIBLY UNDERCOOKED. The kitchen CANNOT cook it any longer due to it being homemade. Avoid at all costs. Pizza is good and so is chicken ravioli, but bolognese sauce lacks flavor and meat and looks slightly like throw up. It is not visually appealing in the slightest.

Great place pizza was fire like its the best rated pizza in state college thats why i ate here and it lives up to their name from what i assume they hand made every ingredient service was slow but it was buzy night my pizza was made in 12 minutes 38 seconds yes I timed it im a local guide for a friday night thats the best time and place to get a wood fired pizza

While I did not eat inside, I did order take away while in the area. I had their potato pizza. When I tell you, I cannot stop thinking about this pizza days later. It was so delicious, crust cooked to perfection, flavors were there. I could eat here again and again. I hope you get the chance to give this place a try.

The food is so good. No reservations so get there early is you don’t want to wait. Ive only had the pasta because it is perfect. The creamy pepper Parmesan dressing for the salad was so good and the pastas come with a salad and bread.

Quick summary: Food here is pretty bad. I’d only come for their pizza, which is mediocre.

Wood-fired pizza (6.5): I head this was the best place at state for pizza, but I’ll have to pass on it. I didn’t like the lumps of tomato in the sauce. The one time I got it, they included tomato lumps and the other time it had none. There are better pizza places at state for sure though.

Garlic bread (5/10): OK starter. Very limp, and undercooked. I would prefer it to be a bit more crispy on the bottom. I think it was just an overload on cheese and stuff. Basic bread

Soup (2/10): Was pretty bad. It tasted like chicken soup with cheese added. Such a weird combination.

Bolognese (4/10): Disappointing. Just not good.

Overall, not coming back.

Just no, the vodka sauce was watery and overly seasoned with parsley. The ravioli themselves were barely stuffed. The cheesecake was warm! Who wants a warm piece of cheesecake? It was very basic. The server was nice, parking was absolutely horrifying, the Caesar salad dressing was a strange color and didn’t smell right so I didn’t try it, but the lettuce was also warm strangely enough, and they didn’t give me silverware for a take out order.

We discovered this place while moving our son into his dorm in 2020. We got take out pizza back then and it was excellent. Now it is a favorite every time we are in town. Love the entire menu . The service is always excellent. If you have to wait for a table it is worth the wait. Enjoy a glass of wine while you wait.

Amazing dinner at Faccia Luna last night. Homemade pasta- crab ravioli, garlic basil linguine, and angel hair. Wife knows that I don’t go out for Italian unless they make their own pasta!

Forgot to take a picture of the pepperoni pizza, but that was great too, love the cup pepperoni they use.
