We love the Mi Cabana in New Bern so decided to try here and the food is just as delicious. The only difference is the service was a little slower and not as friendly but we’ll be back for the food. We ordered the carne asada plate and enchiladas plate. Large portions and very tasty. The atmosphere was a lot of fun and everything was clean.

Food is excellent and homemade no msg that I noticed cause I’m super sensitive. I eat slow cause restaurants can hurt me bad. This place uses fresh and homemade everything I think. Never, had stomach issues from anything. Food is delicious. Sangria delicious. I’m trying to clear menu and they added more.

Overall the customer service is excellent. Our waitress was friendly, helpful and very timely with everything. The food was basic, not a lot of flavor but fresh. If you’re looking for quick Mexican food fix then this is it.

We decided to go to a different location other than the New Bern location that we always go to. That was not such a good idea we both got sick from the food. The wife got a marinated chicken dinner and the breast was sliced very thinly and came so dry and so hard you could barely cut it with a knife. We sent it back for another one and this time it came out much better. Our French fries were very plain tasting. My molcajete chicken was the same way very dry and hard to chew. The dish had hardly any juices in it and was overall very dry including the meat. Our drinks that we paid 15.00 a piece for which my wife got top shelf liquor, they both tasted like they had zero alcohol in them. In fact, the wife said with a drink this size I always feel a small buzz and this one nothing. The worst part about 6 hours later we both had such stomach issues well just say it was not a fun night. Service was great but when we went it was very slow. Very Disappointed to waste a $100.00 and then get sick on top of that.

Highly recommended! If you want really good authentic Mexican food, then look no further. The food was absolutely delicious, the tamales were the best tamales I’ve had in a long time. Their tacos are great too, and their rice was on point! They have reasonable prices, and their cocktails are very good too. Great customer service! We can’t wait to go back again.

This is probably the best Mexican restaurant I’ve been to in Jacksonville. It has a very cozy, homey atmosphere and I loved all the decorations. I got a small margarita and the arroz con camarones. So damn good the margarita was very tasty and just the right amount of tequila so it wasn’t over powering. Our waitress was very attentive, polite and never hovered. The only thing that was a bummer was the basic beer selection. I would have gotten a beer had there been more variety. Otherwise it was amazing! Will be back in the future!

We were seated immediately on a Saturday night, the food was amazing and it’s the only place in Jacksonville we’ve been to that has AMAZING Birria Tacos($14.99). their mango margarita was to die for as well (large is $18.99, so keep that in mind when picking sizes.)

Horchata was watered down 2.5/5
Cheese dip was ok but watered down and I have a feeling it’ll still be a liquid in the morning 3/5
The combos- (cheese enchiladas) was just terrible something was textured wrong with tortilla.
(Beef enchilada) The meat was unseasoned
Chile Relleno was terrible and meat was unseasoned (again)
Refried beans from a can unseasoned
Tostada come on guys at least have a little passion at this point
Cheese quesadilla was the only good thing about that whole meal
If I had rate my meal- 1.5/5
Start seasoning adobo, garlic, onion, sazon and some passion
