Me and my wife were in St. Augustine for a couple of days and wanted some Mexican food, so we chose this place based on the good reviews. It was a little surprising that they charge for chips and salsa. I ordered the Chicken Chac Mool and really liked it. The sauce had good flavor, even though there was more sauce than chicken. My wife got the plain cheese enchilada combo and wasn’t happy with it (the sauce), so overall we felt a three was fair.

That’s my $17 burrito I brought home, told “everything is inside” when asked about rice and beans. Hmmmm, no thanks.

UPDATE: You should be able to see the owner’s response. Yes, the menu said rice and beans were inside, but that’s not the issue. The issue is the $17 burrito was about the size of a single item from Taco Bell that does not even have rice and beans inside. Compare this to A1 Taco Shop, Cantina Louie, or Taco Libre; they’re all at least 2x the size. Based on their response, we 100% will NOT be back!

Stopped in for lunch. Servers were so friendly and polite. We ordered off the lunch menu and the food was plentiful for the price. Bean burrito meal came with extra beans and rice, and it was really good. The salsa is delicious.

Loved this place! The chips and guacamole were fresh and tasty, the tilapia was perfectly cooked, and the ceviche had a delightful citrus kick. The chicken and shrimp tacos were juicy and flavorful, and the flan was the perfect sweet ending. The staff was incredibly friendly, and we loved the live music and cozy outdoor seating. Exceptional service and atmosphere made it a memorable visit. Highly recommended!

The food was wonderful! The waitress and owners were friendly and hospitalble. The only drawback was the fact that the inside temp was the same as the outside seating. Which is where we sat. We plan on going again!

Did carry out because we are in town with a pet. Chose this based on reviews. No carryout chips n salsa so added the chips and queso. Small tiny bag. Food was ok I would say, not the best we have had but good. Waitress at pickup was super friendly. Restaurant was cute. Kinda pricey for Mexican but we are on vaca so whatever right.

Went with a family of 6, Two adults, a teen and three kids. Husband is from Mexico and we eat a lot of authentic Mexican food… THIS WAS NOT ON PAR! Food was sub-par (frozen dinner quality) at best. Plus servings are all kid size meals. You get ONE small hotdog basket of COLD chips and a small bowl of salsa on the house, you pay for extra (remember the family of 6!) For the price we paid we should have left feeling full, not the case. Plus we were charged a 20% automatic tip, WHY!? The server came a total of three times to our table! Once for order, once for bringing the food and once for refills. This did not warrant a 20% tip! On top of all that we sat on the inclosed porch that reeked of mold/mildew. Stay away if you are hungry, or want authentic! There are better Mexican places in town…

We dropped in before 5:00 pm and there were only a few people at tables. The Margarita was good but wine based due to their limited alcohol license. Service was fine. Chips and salsa are free. I ordered the variety enchilada and they prepared a vegan salad in a taco bowl for Mrs. B. The salad was good and the enchiladas were tasty. One bean, one cheese and two meat. The fourth was supposed to be chicken. Pricing was fair. Overall, a good dining experience.

Service was excellent, food was hot and delicious. Great little place for tasty food. Shrimp fajitas were good, local fresh shrimp would make it perfect. Enchiladas Suizas were great, I should have requested corn tortillas instead of flour. Chicken street tacos were great. Rice and beans were ok. Very good salsa, no bite though, mild as can be. Chips were served late, and for three of us there were not nearly enough. They brought more once requested. We will be back!

First time here. I really liked it. The patio has a pretty cool vibe and beautiful fireplace feature inside. The food was good. I would definitely come back again.
